Breaking Bad (including spoilers)
Discussion
Finally a good episode that was pretty interesting. We can see that Gus' boldness with the cartel is having repercussions, Hank while even crippled is starting to unravel portions of the mystery of Gale. We know Jessie is being monitored by Gus and his carelessness has caught up with him. On an interesting side note one fly in Gus's ointment is the fact that since Gus visited Gale's apartment he may appear on the radar. I didn't like the ending because now I have to wait a week to find out what the possible outcome is.

Quite enjoying Mike's little vignettes.
Yup.. that and his comments about Walts earning power are leading me to a conclusion Mike punches Walt but the writers clearly meant to leave us in a state of ponder .

I can't think of another show right now that drums up so much discussion over nuances.I was pondering the likely destination of Jessie. I did think maybe the scene of that shot out van, although that sort of thing doesn't seem to motivate him right now. The only alternative I can think of is he is taken to visit his family or some such, with some kind of tacit threat.

or Gales family, and the message that Jessie is going to donate x% of his income to them to keep them off the breadline now that gale is dead, and the second he messes up or goes rogue, his salary wont go to them, and they will die / be evicted / have bad things happen due totally to Jessie!JamieBeeston said:

Where are you guys coming up with this Gale's family stuff they never had one mention of him having a family he was basically a chemical genius who had eccentric tendencies but didn't even have a cat so I can's see that scenario that you have even mentioned.
Why all the focus on him.. and the snowball from him.. we're just extrapolating http://www.deadline.com/2011/08/done-amc-sony-tv-r...

After tense and public negotiations, AMC just closed a deal with producer Sony Pictures TV to renew dark drama Breaking Bad for a final batch of 16 episodes. The episodes are expected to be filmed together but may be split into two seasons, with a final scheduling decision to be made at a later date. The deal comes just as the series was facing two deadlines: its license deal with AMC was set to expire tomorrow and the options on the actors are up Aug. 31. The two sides have reached a compromise over the stickiest issue -- who will cover the series' budget of $3 million-plus. I hear both Sony TV and AMC will contribute. While negotiations were contentious and Sony did flirt with the idea of moving Breaking Bad to another network, the two sides started making progress over the past two weeks, leading to today's deal. With the series renewal secured, Sony TV now has to make a new deal with Breaking Bad creator/executive producer Vince Gilligan, who doesn't have a contract beyond Season 4 but is fully expected to return for the series' final hurrah. The cast, led by Emmy winners Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, may also renegotiate their deals
Watched the most recent episode last night- it's a belter
what puzzles me though - and obviously it's Walt's drunkeness - is why he bloody had to say something about the genius. Just let it go and you're in the clear. But no, he has to say something.
Everything that's ever happened in this program is due to someone saying/doing something stupid.
