Breaking Bad (including spoilers)
Discussion
The Shield is fantastic and all 7 series are on Netflix now. Similar to the Sopranos in that you know you should despise the central character but...
I can't split those two in a top three with BB but all I will say is that if you're watching with a woman, she'll probably prefer BB.
I can't know of course but I suspect Aaron Paul will never top that role. I don't think Gandolfini would have either, had he lived. Chiklis too.

Why? You can get nine months of Netflix for that!Been going through it on and off for a while, been off this week so decided to watch it to the end, from mid season 4.
Brilliant!
Seeing it without the ending getting spoilers was great. Things aren't the same when you see something good but know the ending.
A few best scenes been posted, mine is season 4 episode 1 'Box Cutter', the whole scene where Gus comes into the lab where Mike and Victor are with Walt and Jesse, bye bye Victor. The scene was brilliant, with Gus not saying a word until the end

Finished binge-watching the whole 5 series about 3 weeks ago. Managed to avoid spoilers, although I'd heard Walt would die in the end, just not how.
Loved the black humour, and the jaw-dropping moments (exploding turtle, tie-straightening, kid on the bike, 'box-cutter') - amazing!

Just a top tip on The Shield... (for those that are considering it). The pilot (first ep) is pretty crap, with WAY too much camera hand held shake. Don't give up on it, as it gets much, much better.
Love performance of Walter Goggins!
Currently watching BB again.. a truly funny prog.
If you like Walt Goggins then give justified a rattle, he's at his absolute best here and it's a good show.Love performance of Walter Goggins!

I've just finished watching BB. Really enjoyed it. Did anyone else find themselves reading the credits as Bromineeaking Bariumd starring Bromineyan Chromiumanston and so on?
The last few episodes of Season Five were quite satisfying to watch. It was good to see dead-eyed psycho Todd get his long-awaited comeuppance and Jesse make his getaway. I also quite enjoyed the scene in Skyler's office at the car wash where Marie was smugly telling Skyler that Hank had arrested Walt and making her tell Walt Jnr/Flynn about Walt while we knew that her gloating would be very short-lived.
Walt's impulsively bad ego and greed driven decision making was frustrating at times, though central to the plot of course. Walt and Jesse should have listened to Saul and Mike more.
This being PH I should mention the cars. Walt's Pontiac Aztek was quite spectacularly crap and perfect for the role. His total lack of ambition in the cars he bought when he had some money was pretty disappointing though. The coolest car in the show was the old pick-up he bought for cash at the end of series 5.
