Started watching friends from the first episode the other day and recognised Ross's wife's girlfriend, checked IMDB and turns out she played Gretchen Schwartz.

Been going through it on and off for a while, been off this week so decided to watch it to the end, from mid season 4.

Brilliant!

Seeing it without the ending getting spoilers was great. Things aren't the same when you see something good but know the ending.

A few best scenes been posted, mine is season 4 episode 1 'Box Cutter', the whole scene where Gus comes into the lab where Mike and Victor are with Walt and Jesse, bye bye Victor. The scene was brilliant, with Gus not saying a word until the end
I think the best scene in the whole series was where
Gus was blown up by the old man in the wheelchair, 'Ding, Ding, Ding...!'
I actually shouted 'Noooo...!!' at the TV when Gus came out and straightened his tie.
And then the camera panned around...
Brilliant!

You missed a bit

i.e. the reactions.

Gus comes out, the camera deliberately moves in slowly so you see the 2 nurses rush up, and then recoil at something. Then the camera pannes around.

Like Pints, I blitzed through all five series in about three weeks. I absolutely loved it. Though, like others, I felt that it dipped in the middle. Season five was absolutely terrific. I found myself shouting at the screen in frustration and anger on more than one occasion .

A wonderful programme. Now onto Better Call Saul !

I haven't checked PH thread on Saul yet. But having just finished the series I'd say you won't be disappointed. In BB there is little depth to the character of Saul...understandable given the focus on Walter. The 10 part Saul series adds that depth and colour, stands on its own and sets the scene for some of the characters in BB. I'm sure that'll continue in the next season of Saul. I loved it!

Seeing rumours online that Season 6 is coming... apparently Vince Gilligan has confirmed.

Google, for some stupid reason, are including nbc.com.co as a 'real' source of news. I think they got confused with the real NBC.

The site's a fake.

And the story about Season 6 reads as a bad April 1st one, so even if the site wasn't fake I'd still have assumed the story was.

(This one http://nbc.com.co/vince-gilligan-announces-breakin... for absence of confusion)

I thought Walt was dead? Is there perhaps some uncertainty about Heisenberg?

I do hope there's not another series. IMO it would detract from what was an almost perfect tale.

Walt is dead. There isn't going to be a Season 6. Someone was trolling with a fake story and has got exactly the reaction they wanted.
