I like Better Call Saul more than Breaking Bad.
When the Saul Goodman character appeared on BB I thought he was great, he lightens the crime drama, gave it some black comedy moments.
If you think the same way that I did then I believe you will enjoy BCS.

Seems both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are dropping major hints on Twitter about a new movie/special/series possibly?

Loved BB and tried (and failed) to get into BCS. Quick question for the fans of the latter...can I just pick it up at say the start of season 2 or 3 and understand what's going on or do I need to invest the time and plough on with season 1? Thanks.

I'd say stick with season 1. BCS is great and gets better as it goes along, really looking forward to the next season.

I thought this was a done deal.

Better Call Saul Season 5 is delayed until 2020 while they do a Breaking Bad sequel feature film that shows what happened to Jesse after the events of the TV show.

I'm just rewatching BB in the hope of watching BCS after, I tried 2 episodes of BCS before but failed to get into it.

One thing that jars with BCS and is getting more noticeable as it goes along is also something they can't do anything about without resorting to CGI. Mike and Huell in particular both look a lot older now than they did in their original appearance in BB which was set several years later.

They’re both slow for the first few episodes. Keep going and you’ll love it biggrin

BCS is certainly a different show to BB.

I watched BB when it was on, BCS last year and then rewtached BB immediatley after.

BCS is good and has some very good moment but I wouldn't say it was in the top tier.

Whilst it’s easy to compare BB and BCS for obvious reasons, I try and separate it slightly and just enjoy it for what it is. BB is more extreme in many respects where BCS has a lot of lawyer stuff going, but it’s still fantastic watching with some incredible casting.

I enjoyed BCS as much as BB, just for different reasons.

Be interesting how they approach Walter, whether he is going to be flashbacks or still alive.

Currently going through Better call Saul enjoying it.

Sorry but not read any of this thread as want to avoid spoilers -

Quite late to the party and several episodes into s3 - we find its really slowed down to the point we're not sure if we can be bothered any more, invested in the story/characters but its like its being drip fed, does the pace pick up?

With the 'A Breaking Bad Movie' subtitle, if this does well Netflix won't want to let it go. It might be the first of a run of post BB films, each about a different character, like the 'A Star Wars Story' films.

Just thinking out loud but maybe it might possibly be a thing?

If there is any series ever to stick with, this is it. Albeit I was well hooked by S3 already to be honest....

In case anyone was wondering on the title (spoiler if you haven’t watched the series)

IMDB said:
The film is titled "El Camino" as Jesse Pinkman screeched to freedom behind the wheel of a 1978 Chevrolet El Camino in the TV series.
