Would it be worthwhile in splashing out on the complete boxed set of DVDs?
If you've just seen the one, and liked it, Hell yes Eric. You'll love it from the very beginning.

Deed done.

The boxed set arrived in yesterday's post. Looking forward to watching all twenty plus episodes now.

The guy who plays Foyle is brilliant, he completely underplays the whole thing and can achieve so much by a single expression or gesture. Other over-actors should take note.
To see him in something a bit different check out 'To Play The King' and 'Ball Trap on the Cote Sauvage'

How about the original 1976 BBC TV play by Dennis Potter "Brimstone and Treacle". Kitchen is a great actor.
