Tosh.

No threat, no plot, no humour. Apart from Miss Pond back in her uniform for no good reason, no redeeming features at all.

And its funny that most of the show they were chasing a shark because that's what that show has now jumped. And they still won't shut up the bloody music!

Copied from the other thread that I posted it on because I couldn't find this one.

I had noisy family in the background so missed bits. Why was Katherine Jenkins cloud9 frozen except for Christmas eve?

I thought that about the music too; yet again.

Okay, so they provided a half-hearted explanation as to why the fish could "float" in the air, but:
- what were they breathing?
- how did their fins work?
- why were they all Earth species?

I just couldn't get past that point. Plus the dodgy moral argument in favour of what the Dr. was attempting...

And while we are about it, I know its all sci-fi and stuff but how did Gambon see himself and the Doctor in the past being attacked by the shark? The first view was from a webcam in the boys laptop, so how did Gambon see them in the cupboard?

It was incomprehensible garbage, absolutely nothing that a Dr Who should
be. Throw a few luvvies at it and we can save ourselves the effort of
writing a plot.

I was really looking forward to seeing the Christmas Special. At the least the Beeb can't fk up Poirot. Someone at the Beeb really needs to take a long hard look at what they just pushed out onto our screens. That was dire.

Easily the best Christmas special smile None of the last few years overblown stuff that just doesn't work for doctor who.

Loved it.

It was more fantasy that Sci Fi. I'm afraid I lost interest very early on.

Really enjoyable programme. Certainly one of the best bits of Christmas Day TV. Amy Pond in a police uniform and Katherine Jenkins. What more could you ask for? Marvellous.

Poor quality rubbish (the CGI was good though).

Plot holes my 9 year old picked up. Lots and lots and lots of them. Some mentioned above, others like "he's the richest man on the planet. Why hasn't he been spending all his money researching whatever it is she's got?"

I'd also prefer a female companion who has some curves (especially if they're going to put her in that costume... seems such a waste on that stick) and isn't ginger, but hey ho.

Well, it's supposed to be entertainment, not a documentary.

Whether you were entertained or not is a different matter, I suppose.

Oh, and btw, this thread is useless without a picture of Miss Jenkins cloud9

Really enjoyed it brilliantly acted, Gambon is a leg end and a nice song written for the show.

Next week on Doctor Who.

The Doctor discovers time travel is impossible and fills in the correct forms at the dole office

Would that be better.

I think Steven Moffat has taken the who time travel think and has played with it.

Before in Doctor Who. The doctor would turn up in the tardis have stuff happen and then get back in the tardis scroll titles.

In Steven Moffats scripts he is takng the whole timetravel stuff and playing with it.
