UFO was very adult.
I have the boxset and its surprising just how dark it is
I had a little catch up on Space 1999 a while back (they're all on youtube iirc). Still as entertaining as ever. And I recall seeing a lot, if not all of UFO on youtube as well. I like the idea of something a little darker.I have the boxset and its surprising just how dark it is

David Graham was on the radio this morning talking about it, I didn't know that as well as Parker, he does voices in Peppa Pig and Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom. I'll be watching on Saturday .
Loved the story about where he got the voice."would you like to see the wine list sir?"

Love the sets but hate the CGI characters.
100% agree with this, the sets looked FAB but the movement of the characters, the eyes and faces were utter crap.Think about the original Thunderbirds, it was 3d, even though they were puppets, every now and again when they did a close up shot of a hand it would be a real hand, you could see shadows of the puppets, real hair etc. The computer graphics are rubbish compared to that, more like 2d.
Im sure a new generation of young viewers will like it but what I saw on the program last night looked very poor to me Even the graphics of the new Fireflash taking off just looked too computer generated, not real at all
The clip they showed with Parker creeping around in some factory, the movement was all wrong, real people do not move and walk like that.
When you think of what is available now in films such as Star wars, its a real shame they could not have bought the series to real life using People and great model sets.
Really hate that CGI Stuff

You do know it's make believe, not an actual space ship Can't wait for Saturday to see it.

Back on Saturday on ITV @ 5pm.
And wouldn't it make great Saturday afternoon viewing? But after the first episode I believe it's going to be hidden away very early (8.00am early!) on a Saturday morning on CITV. What a shame. The programme planners clearly don't know their audience.Mopar440 said:

Isn't that the same tactic they used to kill the CGI Captain Scarlet ? Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
