They have a baby now, or are expecting? And I know I'm a pedant, but he's a prohibition agent.
He won't work for Capone, since he faced Capone down in the first ep.

Isn't the baby from his affair with Lucy in Season 2?
He'll end up being the No.1 enforcer. Dodgy moral compass, trained in violence and got a face that could stop a rhinocerous at 20 paces.
I mean, would you argue with him?
You would argue with him Tony?
I would not argue with him. It makes me nervous when his work'pals' tease him.
They're gonna get ttted.

I preferred Nucky when he had a dash of humility – hasn’t made me smile once with his (now removed for season 3) wit – are they setting this character up to be killed at the end of the series?
This is the subtle change over the episodes:It's The Godfather in reverse. That started from a nobody, to a foot soldier, to a mafia boss, to a Godfather to a multi-millionaire businessman and respected politically.
Nucky has gone from the politician who 'creamed' from smuggling in Episode 1, and since had the very slow decline to where he now has no political position, no political sway, his organisation is involved in the actual smuggling, and most recently, not only is he being there to do his own 'dirty work', he is actually the one who chooses to pull the trigger.
It'll be interesting where it ends.

Terminated more like. Most of the time he doesn't even appear human does he?SWoll said:

Will be interested to see what Michael Shannon does with the General Zod character in 'Man of Steel'. Superman must be stting himself.
Perfect casting IMHO.
Also looking forward to seeing The Iceman

I forget what it was now, but in the most recent (downloaded) episode I'm sure Nucky said somethign just as it cut to camera and I thought "that's brilliant" - but for the life of me can't recall what it was. But I remember it being brilliant.

It is dragging a bit, I find myself surf on my iPhone when it's on and I miss the odd thing.
The chap who sells information in return for piles of cash left in a fishbowl is probably the most interesting character for me at the moment; I expect he'll become more important through the series.
It needs a 'hero' for me though, Nucky has gone to the dark side, Margret is boring and only serves to bring the inevitable show-down between Nucky and his young ex-IRA minder.
About the only character left decent is the half-faced vet, who's got more than a few kills to his name.
