I'm loving the second series.

I'm beginning to think this is up there with The Sopranos, the attention to detail is outstanding, as are the story lines.

I'm no expert on African Americans slang in the 1920's but would imagine the language used in the prison scene had been researched and executed to perfection.

I agree. This is brewing into a properly excellent programme and I like the even pace at which events are developing. Its going to be very interesting to see how Nucky turns things around.

At these early stages are they hinting at which way the up and coming young Jimmy can be swayed?

Also nice to have the rise of Al Capone as a side show.

I am assuming that young new Irish chap will have a big part to play in Nookie's comeback?

It's the only TV programme I sit up straight to watch. It seems to have an aura about it. Love the characters and the story at them moment.

The prison scene was fantastic, didn't see it coming at all.

BE seems to have found a good balance of action and depth.

Wow...anyone see last nights ep? The fight and especially what the sheriff did had me watching intently. It keeps hotting up this show.

Got the latest two episodes to watch smile
Bit pushed for time at the moment so Dexter has came before Boardwalk Empire.

I just love how it's moving along. Where I think this programme shines in the time it allows scenes and actors to work. The scene today with Richard sat around the fire could be seen as slow but with what had happened prior it was completely apt and superbly done.

On a far lower level but just as rewarding is the bonus of seeing some boobs.

thought i'd give this a little bump. Just seen the latest episode with the scene in the butchers and the cleaver.

Brilliant show, if a little sad at the moment

I just watched last night's HBO episode.

I figured something a bit freaky was going to happen with Jimmy's Mum, I didn't quite figure on it being that. And Van Alden on the run - I was wondering when someone was going to figure out what happened to his first partner!

He is, I love his accent. Join the fb page. There is a link which gives an insight to how the actor sees the character.
