TT3D is immense. shows you Guys real job in stunning detail.
Do they spend the whole film following him around a workshop full of trucks? Does look quite spectacular from the trailer! Although apparently you can either like sh4gging or racing.....so how did James Hunt do so well?

So sorry to see the last one last night.
I absolutely adored every one of them.
I saw the 'point' of it as giving people the opportunity to see the sorts of skills and products that were about a hundred years ago or so and showing just how difficult it was by letting a layman have a go at it.
I've read above some comments on "why not do it properly" etc I don't think that was the point of the programme, if you want to watch someone who knows what's he's doing carefully and correctly restoring something over many months check out the discovery channel there's usually a Car is born, Tank Builder or something on that does that sort of thing really nicely I love those sorts of programmes where you really get a feel of how things work.

Really weird. This afternoon I watched "TT, Close to the edge" and thought, "that Guy Martin chap is a bit of a character"! Anyway, just sat down after shooting off some emails, and thought, "I'll watch that show about the bloke and his canal boat" and lo, there was Guy again! Quite cuffed. Never been into bikes, or know much about bike racing since Barry Sheene was on the scene many years ago, so before today I didn't know anything about this fellow, but alas, I think we may have found the 21st century's Fred Dibnah!
