A re-run of series 2 starts tonight at 23.10 on Atlantic, and presumably ends just as series 3 is due to begin.

I think I may get myself back into it in readiness and give it another watch....

Same here. The battle episode (fire stuff) deserves a second viewing.

Battle of Blackwater is awesome, no surprise it was the most torrented TV show of 2012 really. I think my neighbours are still pissed off about the explosion biggrin

I watched S1 last year, and have read the first 2 books over the last couple of weeks, and onto the 3rd now.

I was waiting for S2 to be released on bluray (March 4th) but couldn't wait biggrin

Buwhahahahaha.
And for each one there's the possibility of them being a Targaryen.

Better BBC Four music repeats replacing Savile era TOTP I think.

He has terminal cancer, was announced recently. He declined treatment as his wife died a while back and he has chosen to die which is very sad

I hadn't realised he was a famous musician till I started reading up on

I watched a Danish film called Headhunters the other day, which had none-other than Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, aka Jaime Lannister, as a main character.

I think the treatment was only going to delay the inevitable by a few months, so he probably decided that it wasn't worth it.

Good film - he's also been in a short-lived TV series called New Amsterdam which is another twist on the Highlander type of story. Probably not enough of a twist to make it a successful series, hence its cancellation after 6 or 8 eps.

I think I've got a new favourite character.

Jaqen H'ghar. Badass!

I've only read book 1, but watched Season 1 and 2 and really enjoyed him, and I'm hoping he appears again in the later books/series.

In Glasgow we’re getting a cinema screening of Blackwater as part of this year’s Film Festival, and a Q&A panel of cast members after the showing. Free tickets, but I’m betting there will be quite some queue for them when released!

A man names a man as an awesome character?
