Her favourite line in the books is 'you know nothing Jon Snow'. I think she has only said it once on the TV show, so you may have missed it.

The Jon Snow and Ygritte storyline was one of my favourite parts of the books.

Oh very yes.

I have just watched season 2 again, I still can't decide who my favourite character is though.

Whoosh parrot can surely only apply if I missed something obvious.

I didn't.

There is a GoT game on FB, called Ascent. Don't know if it's any good.

Ive been sort of playing it but its at the very early beta stage in my opinion. Needs a lot of work. I think they have also been caught out by the popularity.

It has a lot of potential to be very good but I would say dont get put off by the current state

I finished the Game of Thrones game I posted about earlier in the thread. My initial impressions proved to be pretty accurate - the game itself is very average, and the combat can be rather frustrating, but the story is very good and makes it a worthwhile 20 hours of so of gaming for fans of the books. The voice acting for the two main characters isn't too bad, but there's some truly dire performances for the supporting cast.

A little confusingly, Cersei appears and has been modelled to look just like Lena Headey, but they obviously couldn't afford her fee for the voice work so she rather jarringly has someone else's voice....

I'm just over half way through a Feast for Crows. Very different mix of characters in this book. I find it a bit of a challenge at times keeping track of all the new characters as I can't visualise them like I can after watching the TV series.

Book 3 was unbelievable...You could see how things were shaping up but couldn't believe that he would follow through with it! The next season is going to be brilliant!

The prologue for Dance With Dragons threw me (speaking of visualising) but I was sure if it was because I had downloaded a sample via Google Books and was reading on my phone whilst waiting for the actual book to turn up

Me too. I had a bit of a blitz earlier in the week and watched the three episodes that had built up on the box.

I had forgotten just how good the scenes with Charles Dance and Maisie Williams at Harrenhal were in the most recently screened episode, and indeed just how absolutely magnificent Dance is as Tywin Lannister.

Oh, and the first time we get to hear "You know nothing, John Snow" - that made me smile all over again.

(Rose Leslie who plays Ygritte is surprisingly attractive, for a ginger. How did this pass me by first time around scratchchin )

Yeah, Dance rates as one of the best.

That line also got me. Also love the Jaqhen scenes. And the Tyrion/Varys/Jerome stuff.
