I reckon the fool was in on it too, remember when Margery saved him at Joffrey's name day? He will be completely loyal to her after that.
He did know something was about to happen.

Wasn't it Sansa that saved the fool?.

I am staying away from that Reddit site. A spoiler wouldn't ruin things, but I like not knowing what will happen next.
Balls, so it was! My apologies.

Looks like I need to go and re watch the previous episodes laugh

From the Telegraph yesterday (spoilered just in case):

Joffrey’s icky demise and Gleeson’s exit also brings with it a third emotion, however, something akin to goodbye and good luck, because by all accounts one of the most contemptible, heedless characters ever committed to screen is played by one of the most pleasant, thoughtful men you could hope to meet. The word from the set was that every time Joffrey would unleash some torrent of abuse at a bystander, fling a goblet or flay a we the minute the director said ‘cut’ Gleeson would apologise. Late last year he said the experience of becoming very famous for being very unpleasant has, perhaps unsurprisingly, put him off acting altogether.

A bit sad, yet a great qualification of his skills as an actor.

He gave a nice speech at the Oxford Union about his opinion of celebrity. Interesting and intelligent young man.

Yeah smart fella. I did feel he was just quoting and it got quite dry halfway through, but he knows his stuff. You can see why he doesn't wish to be an actor anymore...he'll come back to it one day though.

It led me onto this.

I've just started re-watching the whole lot again, I did the first three episodes last night. It's fascinating, seeing the relationships in the early days, knowing what we know now. The last time Ned sees Catelyn, for example, or Jon Snow/Ned. Brilliant. And lots of Khalesi.

That's a great moment in hindsight.

The whole thing will be a helluva thing to watch in its entirety in a few years...I'm also thinking the scenes that were cut...
