That's a massive disservice to Drogon, Rhaegal and the other one!

IT has to be one of the best series around for some time that leaves you shouting at the TV when each episode ends!! all you want to see is 5 minutes more!

The current three graphic novels of Dunk and Egg are set 90 years before the current stuff.
Dunk is the Kingsguard bloke mentioned in S4E2 by Joff when mocking his 'uncle'.
Egg (mentioned way back in the first series) is the brother of Maester Aemon and became king when Aemon turned it down.

I know who they are, I didn't know they were in the comics, I thought they were just short stories

Thought it was good to see Daario getting better. His character reminded me of Eric Bana in appearance.

He was OK.
Shame, I have a mate who would make a perfect Strong Belwas.

He's a pointless character really. He has one purpose in the books. Anyone can fulfil the same role, in much the same way that Bronn has several people's roles

True.

I meant to say three dragons and a horse.

Anyone mentioned yet that GoT has already been picked up for S5 and S6 yet? Almost unheard of in TV-land these days.

He grew on me this episode. Understated. Accurate.

I agree with this. I also think it proves that books can't be squashed into a film. Or even three films.

33hours in and it doesn't even feel like half way!

It helped by seeing him throw a dagger at the horse, killing it in one shot then him killing the rider with his arakh.
Was brilliant smile
Laughed out loud also when Stannis's daughter was with Davos and said :
You won't be much of a knight if you see 'knight' and say 'ker nigit'

Good episode if a bit lacking in action for GoT. Things to come anyway biggrin

A lot of chatter about this ep. The director/producer (not sure) says it basically sets up the last three episodes.

I actually hate this thread.

It just gets me more and more pumped for the next episode.
I've watched series 1-3 a full 4 times now, even last night I was so pumped that I watched S4 E1+2 before E3 aired.

Can't wait another week! Kill me now! frown

I miss Strong Belwras frown

That scene could have been so much better as the defeat was then by an ex slave.
