Didn't you see him in the last episode speaking to Roose Bolton, when he returned to the Dreadfort and Ramsay and Reek (Theon) were there? Reek told Bolton about Bran and Rickon still being alive and they had probably gone north to the wall and Jon Snow.

smile
I've just rewatched that scene, I was cringing that much I felt sure Theon/Reek was going to slit Ramsey's throat I forgot the importance of what was said.

The deviation has gotten a bit bigger this episode but in my mind it's still OK (and I am a Purist at heart) because it doesn't fiddle with the main story and amps up the tension while allowing great actors to do good stuff.
Thinking about this more but what do you mean doesn't interfere with the main story?

Wow! Only just been able to watch Oathkeeper - brilliant episode made even better because they are giving those who have read the books something new!

Locke turning up at the wall, is this in the book or a new 'feature' ?

Locke is a show character, though he has actions from characters dropped in the books.

I haven't read the books, but obviously Locke is going to fail in killing Jon Snow, he'll probably get picked off at some point whilst the rangers are north of the wall.

Danaerys' story is starting to get a little bit more interesting.. not sure what she's going to do now that she HAS captured Mereen, hopefully something COOL!

And as for Bran and co. surely Jon Snow and his mates will come in and clean everything up for them? I think seeing Hodor getting abused was the most upsetting thing in all of Game of Thrones so far frown

This is the first series we have watched real-time so we definitely agree with that!

Surely you jest in suggesting anything will be that tidy? I said earlier in this thread that any solution we can think of won't be the one GRRM uses. (I expected a LOT more drama from Joffrey's death. Ima bit dissapointed, really smile)
Agree about Hodor, he has enuff troubles.
And Danaerys, well... punch bring it on Mhysa!
My opinions only. I have not read the books. I Know Nothing, You Know... coffee

Locke was given the mission to kill Bran & Rickon by Roose. That is his primary objective, JS is a bd, so not to feared like B&R. But I suppose Once intel on Rickon has been secured Locke wouldn't be averse to sticking a point in Snow...so long as he could get away clean. But he is also NW now, so he can't exactly just leave. But in these awkward times it might be too much trouble to go after a determined absconder.

Just seen on Facebook that Atlantic are saying that from Monday there will be only one ad break in the show and they specifically added it wont be a long one either.

Which is good news but I want them all gone

Thats fantastic, I'm fine with one add - after all the network does need to make money, its nice that their providing the fans a service of keeping the immersion though!

They already make money by making you pay a subscription to watch the channel and they can show non-immersion-breaking, additional-moneymaking ads between programmes anyway .... rolleyes
