Game of Thrones - No spoilers
Discussion
Just been rewatching the first series as it just finished on Sky and it's really remarkable how enjoyable it is despite knowing some of the unfortunate events that occur. It may well be a greater familiarity with the characters so less time is being spent thinking who is who and how do they connect to that person or event. The background manouevering and plot ructions are much much clearer this time round.
It does seem to make the whole series have a much darker tone than it did first time round, but thats probably because I watch it thinking, "Good plan, but you're doomed....and so's that bloke...and him...and she doesnt last much longer...." and I'm only up to speed with the TV series so no idea who's doomed in the later books!!
