I would guess some of the cast love to know what's going on, even if it's just teasing their friends. biggrin

Brienne and Ramsay and Stannis should all be meeting up around that time.
To say nothing of Dani and her dragons.

Also....Littlefinger....taking his Vale knights North? Hmmm....I can see him doing a double cross on Roose there.

And the powerplay between Olenna and Cersei...can't see who'll get the better of it there, but the High Sparrow will top them both I reckon.
I'm fairly sure that High Sparrow will be levelling his gaze at Cersei... She's worse than the lot of them put together!
Yes, but so far she's let him do his thing with no hassle. I think he knows which side his bread is buttered!

This may not go down too well, but you have to die of something.
So far I have been really disappointed with this series. I like the idea of set up and pay off, but to have a whole series dedicated to set up and one episode for pay off won't work imo.
Also the quality of production has diminished as well. Some very poor cgi, terrible fight choreography (see last nights fight with the sand vipers and compare it to the big fights from last season) is this because the writers are running low on books to draw from? Overall it smacks of reduced budget and or rushed production.it depends how this series finishes, but it's close to shark jumping territory at the moment.

I agree heavily on the fight scenes. Very poor in action, tension and intensity. Nowhere near Brienne vs The Hound or battle of Blackwater or Castle Black or any other general sword action. The fight between the Sons of the Harpy and the Unsullied in particular felt like it dragged on, even when Ser Barristan stepped in.

Seems there's been quite a bit of backlash online regarding the Sansa scene at the end...

Yeah, the usual twaddle about rape and stuff.

I have to say that the fight last night wasn't as good, but the one with Bronn and Jaime earlier was good. Possibly a different choreographer.

But stuff has happened, lots of it. So I don't understand the comments that it's all gonna happen in the last episode.

When Jamie and Bronn appeared dressed in Dornish robes it reminded me of stoning scene from "Life of Brian".

Was hoping the big guy with the big axe would take Bronn's head (he beheaded on of the kings guard guys in the book), instead the whole fight scene was very poor.

Sadly, I have to agree. This series, thus far at least, has been the weakest of the lot I think. That could all change, of course - I hope it does..

And to think we have to wait a whole year for season 6!

Makes me wonder if the confined space dictated the camera shots. I didn't feel any urgency or threat in that fight, as opposed to the previous one on the dunes. I felt underwhelmed by that whole scene and set-up, plus the acting of the big guy.

Try waiting for the book - especially after the disappointment of reading 2000pages that build to a battle that is just about to happen..

The sand snake fight was a bit crap.

Cersai is burning her bridges, what Olanna said was right you need to work with you enemies, she's letting emotion get in the way.

There has been a lot of build up this series and plenty of foretelling. No songs about your death and Ser Barry dies in the back streets, a bit about the stonemen then Lord Friendzone gets attacked.

Only just had a chance to watch!

HOLY CRAP! I was screaming at Theon, I was SURE he was going to interact. I've been so tense at the end of the show for ages!

I liked the scene where Jorah and Tyrion were taken, though the way Tyrion escaped death felt a bit Deus Ex Machina to me. It was funny but felt a little cheap.

As already said by others, I thought the Sand Snakes fight was a bit crap - but then I prefer story driven via well written dialogue to action scenes.

Big shock for me was Margery being taken, looking forward to that panning out, Cersei is such a fool!

Indeed I to haven't been too impressed with this series so far-relative to the others of course. It's still good TV, there's been some good stuff in there but could have been condensed into a single episode. This is of course the problem when you have a lot of different story lines and characters to keep up with. Feel at the moment we’re 6 episodes in and not much has happened.

Last night I thought the fight with the sand vipers was a bit 'spoofy' to be brutally honest. Jamie seems like a liability without his right arm so I would have expected badass with spear to have dispatched or at least wounded him.

Sand Snakes fight looked like something straight out of Xena the Warrior Princess.

Maybe they spent all the money on the location and didn't have enough left over for choreography?

Jaime and Bronn appearing when they did made sense - unfamiliar territory, but for all the buildup about the Sand Snake chicks their entire plan seemed to amount to nothing more than ineffectually attacking in broad daylight while another third party was involved. Quite why Chief Sand Snake or whatever her name is just stood around waiting to be caught (what was her purpose there?) didn't make any sense.

On Thronecast last week somebody made the amusing point that in any other story, people would be waiting for the moment where Theon saves Sansa, but as this is Game of Thrones he'd just as likely join in because he is so mentally fked. biggrin

Good job they didn't read the book!

Highborn ladies are trained from a youngish age to know what's going to happen in the bedroom after an arranged marriage, so she was as prepared as she could be.

Ramsey makes Joffrey seem like a well balanced lad.

it could well be that the location itself put the kibosh on a more violent or extended fight scene....

What's with all this 'outrage' rolleyes at Sansa getting raped I'm reading on the internet? Some people just love to play Helen Lovejoy.
