It's bad form and disrespectful to pepper the thread with spoilers.
Don't do it.
This is why I didn't quote the spoilers, give any answers to them and put those block capitals there.Don't do it.

I signposted and hid the spoilers in a thread that specifically discusses the show, which everyone knows was first shown last night.
If you still managed to come into a thread and "inadvertently" end up reading those spoilers, then frankly you shouldn't be trusted with the internet.
"Bellends" indeed.

It has been discussed and agreed before that we wouldn't talk about the new episode until its finished airing on the Monday evening showing. Not everyone is able to see the advanced showing at 2am but after the 9pm showing its fair game to discuss it.
Whilst you did spoiler-tag it and clearly showed that you were discussing the episode, it is common knowledge that spoiler tags don't always appear properly.
I saw it at 2am too - so luckily nothing was ruined for me, but I've managed to keep quiet about the episode and won't join the discussion until everyone else has.

A - official showing is tonight, not the early hours of the morning, it was agreed when that showing started that it wouldn't be discussed until AFTER the evening show
B - spoiler takes don't work on all versions of browsers, or mobiles.
C - if you can't follow simple rules, you shouldn't be allowed to play with others.

If people cannot see the episode until the day after it aired and their browser doesn't hide spoilers properly and they can't read a fcking signpost, then they should stay out of the thread or better still, get a fcking adult to read it first and tell them when it's safe for them to read it.

Well, I didn't discuss it and I certainly didn't agree to not post anything until nearly 24 hours after the episode is aired.

How many people can stay up until 2am to watch it?!If people cannot see the episode until the day after it aired and their browser doesn't hide spoilers properly and they can't read a fcking signpost, then they should stay out of the thread or better still, get a fcking adult to read it first and tell them when it's safe for them to read it.
90% of the watchers in this thread do so at the 9pm showing, the official showing.
You're in the wrong, shut up & accept it or fk off, because you're showing yourself to be an even bigger dhead with every new post.
Firstly, I've never (to my knowledge) posted a spoiler and haven't seen tonights episode yet but...
It's fairly easy to keep away from a thread until after you have watched the current episode, why take the risk? I sometimes can't watch episodes of some shows for a couple of weeks so I keep out of the threads until then.
Alternatively, the thread title is 'Game of Thrones - Please do not post unhidden spoilers', maybe it needs to be changed ?

Why can't the selfish just wait til the majority have seen it, this thread has ALWAYS been for the UK timings of the shiw, not US times. It's fairly easy to keep away from a thread until after you have watched the current episode, why take the risk? If you and your little clique want to censor what people talk about and when, I suggest you find yourselves a closed forum to do it in.
And you can take your stated and implied insults with you.
TBH I don't mind either way but would like to know how it works
I thought the agreement was we didnt post until the show finishes on a Monday evening and that spoiler tags dont work everywhere
If its the early hours of Monday morning thats fine lets agree and most of us can keep away until later tonight
I avoid the online reviews I can avoid this thread but I had thought it was "safe"

I agree, but it is even easier to stay out of the thread for those not wanting to be spoiled. What do people imagine is going to be posted in here 12 or so hours before the show airs but after it has been shown abroad? Apart from posts stating how impatient they are to see the episode, it's very likely to be people that have seen it posting "Its awesome/rubbish/boring..." type posts. Or people argueing about spoilers So, nothing much of value, might as well wait until 10 O'Clock before venturing in.chris watton said:
I watched it this morning at 2.00am - but won't write anything regarding the episode until after 10pm tonight.
Is that so hard for some to do?
This isn't about self-discipline, it's about self-censorship.Is that so hard for some to do?
This is a discussion forum for a tv series, seems like a few people have decided that because they're unwilling to watch it when it first airs, have decided to use browsers for which the spoiler tags don't work and cannot read a signpost, everyone is required to self-censor until they've seen it.
And they have the gall to label others selfish.
