She's also got a significant number of tattoos, which would prove somewhat hard to explain away.
They have makeup dont you know, The Moutains arms are covered in them and they removed them onscreen.Shaoxter said:

The "Breaking the internet" comment. Are we sure that's about a death and not Cersei? I thinking of the High Septons naked walk of shame. If they make Cersei do the same thing it would be quite a sight and possibly "Break the internet"
Thinking about her box... I like it!
Broadly speaking stuff from the books is going to spoiler the show now. The show has caught up and many of the storyline are different from the books.
Iirc, all of the swords are referred to earlier in the books rather than the last book. The show misses much of the book history and detail, not to preserve storylines and prevent spoilers but to stop each episode having 2 hours of background in addition to shat we already get.

I don't remember it being covered nor have I read far enough in the books to provide a spoiler (I've only read the first two so far), but my guess is that it's 'cold' enough to shatter steel, similar to liquid nitrogen. Valyrian steel is forged in dragon fire, so 'fire-y' enough to stand up to it?
It's not forged in dragonfire, just specially made.TEKNOPUG said:
I'll take 3 dragons over an army of dead, White Walkers or VS swords every time.
Frickin' Dragons....
How are the White Walkers going to counter the dragons? So far we've not seen the dead use any form of ranged weapon, which puts them at something of a disadvantage against flying beasties...Frickin' Dragons....

A reason why the White Walker perhaps didn't go into the sea, he'd melt.
Even though I knew that that ^ wouldn't happen, they have played around with the series so much this season, my heart was in my mouth waiting for the Night King to step off the jetty onto ice & have the sea freeze further with each step he took, the wildling army followingblueg33 said:

I've watched all of the complete history and lore sections (extras from the blu rays) on youtube, a lot of background detail about who's who, and who's got valerian swords and and all sorts of history stuff with little in the way of spoilers as long as you don't watch them before the season they came with.Narrated by the cast in character as well....

The cold comes with WW. Possibly a factor? The WW either only go where winter is, or they take winter with them. Also...there are theories on their God, and who is one their side.PeteB0 said:
I thought it was? The show wiki agrees
My mistake then.ali_kat said:

I actually did expect this. Since there is so much confusion in the book as to what happened at Hardholme since it happens offscreen.Shaoxter said:

I can think of one more thing which it could be but I wont say it as spoilers don't seem to work for some people (could be totally wrong as well, don't know where I got the idea).
ETA:First time I think I've ever heard a character say the word 'fker' on a show!

but I knew they survived the trip is what I meant; they wouldn't have done if he froze the water I think? That was our theory yesterday when watching it, anyway. If he stepped on it & it turned to ice the way the other put the fire out, they were screwed
