I'm wondering if they are going to need to jump some time at some point.
The reason I say this is because the dragons are basically useless at the moment. I guess they can just have them grow full size in a short space of time but they just don't seem that powerful at the moment.
The flip side of that I suppose is that if they're just hulking death machines then what agency does any mere human have anymore? Dany could just torch the entire city and be queen of the ashes. The reason I say this is because the dragons are basically useless at the moment. Anyone seen the casting requests for Season 6? They're vague enough to be not entirely spoilery, but one of the characters being cast strongly hints that they will be showing a flashback/fight scene from early in the books not shown in the show, and it should be awesome.
Link?Already discussed in the Book thread a few weeks ago, as there is spoilers, I've included the link to the start carry it on though

I think apart from two stories, there can't be spoilers now. Is it spoilery ton discuss future castings?
Though as Tywin predicted...dragons don't win wars.

It did save his life when he caught a sword with it. His lack of hand also seems to have made him slow for some reason. A fighter shouldn't lose the instict IMO.
Oh I dunno, seems right to me, his sword was an extension of his swordarm, with that gone his balance is different and he has to learn from scratch, plus he has an unusual weight on the end of his right arm.London424 said:

I doubt they will all survive the show. Drogo has flourished being on his own, he may put on large spurts on he starts chomping on warriors, prime rib!The reason I say this is because the dragons are basically useless at the moment. Good question, especially after it proved its efficacy against White walkers. I'd guess that Alliser nabs it, unless one of Jon's mates gets there first.
As far as I remember only 2 people saw it happen, Tormund and the swarthy ratboy nightswatchman who's one of Jon's supporters and I don't recall him telling anyone else but Sam.richtea78 said:
Widows wail is not a full on Broadsword though. Ice was a huge 2h Broadsword but it was made into two smaller swords
Both were full sized longswords though, WW a bit smaller than Oathkeeper but not by much.Ice wasn't a broadsword, it was a huge greatsword, said to be about 6 foot!
That would be pushing the limits of what one could actually wield, though valerian steel is lighter so...

Ice was what the show calls a two handed great sword, like one of these babies.
