Can't see them progressing the Wall/Snow story in any meaningful way until the mis season at least - they'd be daft to rush the 'reveal' that everyone's waiting for...
If Jon Snow is to be resurrected in any meaningful way as his old self, it must surely happen before he turns into a wight, no? In any case, they've only got until midnight before the Nights Watch are going to smash their door open. Now that I think of it, the trailer showed Davos grabbing Longclaw, but there was no Red Woman in the shot. I hope they try to burn them out and Millesandre does something awesome.

He's south of the wall, so he shouldn't reanimate as a wight.

We quite often leave a subplot for a few episodes before returning back to pretty much where we left off...

Isn't it how close the White Walker's King is? He does it, we saw it at the end of Hardhome. After all the Wildlings south of the wall who died were burnt.

And a corpse reanimated as a wight in S1 when Jon was on the naughty step, though it had been lying around for a while up north.

I don't know how close the NK needs to be, but the wall is opposing magic and denies the WW, they cannot pass it or affect it, or affect stuff the other side of it..

The corpse was already animated. It was a sneaky ploy by the WW to sort out MOrmont and the capable brothers first.

Is there any more written in the books about the history of the Starks prior to benjen, need etc?

How far do the wights go back? As it seems my Rhagar theory has been disproved lol
If you want to know more about the Starks (or any houses) I highly recommend Comic Book Girl 19's series EPIC History.

Here is the Stark one, very interesting.

You cant leave it for ages.

There is a body there that will either be burnt or buried.

I gather I'm the minority then? I've watched it all, twice and still have no bloody clue, too much to take in for me laugh
The episode or the series? yikes
The whole caboodle laugh

It doesn't worry me though, I like the show and will crack on with enjoying it while not knowing anything!

Just watching an older episode.

If Melisandre's necklace is the source of her glamour/power she's in the bath with out it on?

This may have already been mentioned but I've not read through the forum for a day or two!

It has been mentioned, but not here I don't think. If you watch it again, you hear Melisandre talking about her potions used to seduce and make men see what she wants them to see.

The scene has Mel in the bath throwing some potion in it and you get to see Stannis' wife's reaction- at the time it seemed to Mel's assertion that she didnt drug Stannis, but some now retroactively interpret as her seeing Mel's true form. It also makes you wonder if Stannis knew.

I read that she might be centuries old a while back, after reading a few pages, I can now see how people picked up on it in the books.

ALso...makes one scene from S4...very curious....

Some theorised abut it years ago. The ones that believed picked it out at the time.
Carice seems to have known the true age since she was given the part, all the way back in 2011. So at the moment, we don't know if the stone is left out on purpose or not! biggrin
