Watching a video on Youtube about some sort of Lamborghini Diablo and in the bottom corner, there's a video with a fkin' MASSIVE spoiler about tonights episode in the title. Thanks youtube for recommending me a GOT video while watching something on cars!
yeah I can understand you being pissed about that!!! Luckily watched it this morning over breakfast but next week youtube is being avoided until 22.00 I'm not definite but I think they haven't cast people for a significant part of her allies from the book so I doubt that is occurring.
As to why she wins, she has the Unsullied. In the books they are much more badass than the TV ones. They have been a bit gimped in the tv version.
You are largely correct though, she's made a lot of mistakes but I think what they are trying to show is that she learns from them. So that should make her a better ruler in the end.
She also has 3 dragons now. They are no where near their full potential yet. They are huge game changers.
IMO she won't win, in fact I doubt anyone's going to end up winning. The end will be them fighting off the Wights and then a council of rulers will take over the 7 Kingdoms. This will include Tommen, Dany and a few others

Yeah I think the end of GoT is going to be something like back in the days when they ended up building the wall in the first place, with the Chidren of the Forest, Giants, etc all at the table cutting a new deal. A new narrative for the next >thousand years that will eventually itself pass into legend and be forgotten.
I also, surprisingly, really don't want Tommen to die prematurely, but it's easy to imagine something happening to him/his which tips him into full blown tyrant.
I think Mereen suffers the same as Dorne in that they don't really seem to have allocated the budget to show off her big army or the general vibe of Essos like they did when she was kicking ass thought the region before. In Kings Landing you have lots of uniformed people, admin bods and general proletariat walking around to make the place seem like a living city with a government network. Mereen and Dorne seem like a few small sets sometimes.

I see from the listings the next episode is again on at 2am tonight. Damn them I'm going to have to set the alarm and tune in. I might be mistaken but previously I thought Atlantic only simulcast the first episode? Anyone know what the policy is going forward?
Ever since HBO Go went ahead last year, Atlantic made the wise choice to simulcast, it's an option for foreign broadcasters.motorizer said:

Interesting. Just putting this out there seeing as the regular UK air time is now 2am... should we have free comments after the 2am showing?
I'm sure this came up last year, and the consensus was no spoilers till 10pm mondayobviously The Walking Dead doesn't need to be in there as every episode is the same.

The answer from the Moderators (taken from a majority vote last year) is no spoilers until after the 9pm showing

what about a sub forum in this one just for spoilers? That way you really do know its being spoilered and get no surprises.
obviously The Walking Dead doesn't need to be in there as every episode is the same.
There was a thread started last year by someone VERY determined to be able to air spoilers... It was picked & I don't think he can/does post in here anymore. The difficulty is - it would still need to be moderated; any reports would spoil things for the Moderators and as they watch it...obviously The Walking Dead doesn't need to be in there as every episode is the same.
