Looking back at that first few lines of dialogue, where the hound mentions his code, then the later scenes where he beats the guy that offered him fair pay for fair work, and steals his money, shows why he had to die I guess. fatandwheezing said:

Nice spot.I guess it's the difference between being at the top of your game, with cash, weapons, armour, fed and watered, walking out on your own terms and then ending up captured, tired, sword and dagger left, armour falling apart and pretty close to being fked. I recall the Hound reckoned away the theft by acknowledging that the fella would be dead come winter, regardless of anything the HOund would do, so he never saw it as stealing.
But in this show, even the great Ned Stark went back on his code.
Codes are great...till the st hits the fan.
Thinking back, the Hound did usually try and do right...when his boss couldn't see how it went against his wishes.

Seem to be decent mates. Probably happens when you spend alot of time on set with someone of a similar age.
They were together when I seen them in Ireland

Yeah thanks a million for that. I knew what was coming but I continued watching. And now what previously took weeks to vanish from my brain is back."Red wedding, red wedding, lots of stabbin' and bit of beheading"

Although I think Ramsey is the best singer...he had an EP out a few years back
I think the guy who plays Grey Worm, Raleigh Richie has the best voice in the show perhaps

After seeing that lad nail Sean's speech pattern, I'm expecting a great fight, but not sure if they'll stick what happens after in the same episode.
Also, a mate of mine told me that Sean Bean did flatly refuse to do any other accent than his own, and his family all had to revolve around his.

He was my favourite part of the flashback until Hodor appeared. I never noticed before, but they made it really obvious in that episode- Hodor had a cut on his head as a kid and he still does now. I wonder what that's all about.
Loving the idea that he might have Warged into something that died at a crucial moment- can you imagine if, right at the end with mankind facing impending extinction, they're suddenly like "of course! HODOR! The spell to bring the giants back!
Would be even better if it was something lame like Rosebud, though.
