If anyone's interested, HBO Nordic accidentally made this week's episode available online. Oops! Someone's having a no-biscuits meeting today I'm sure...
Hmmmm will be available elsewhere by too no doubt......I now have to wait 29 hours to discuss the happenings of the episode.
Sounds like a good episode from the little I've read. Roll on tomorrow.....
I might possibly have been known in the distant past to dabble in slightly-dubious downloads of TV series that hadn't yet aired over here, but not for ages. I think I may have to do some research as to where the cool kids go for their slightly-dubious downloads these days.....

There is a sharp transition from season 4 onwards where it feels the show got too big for its boots for me. Actors started with terrible accents, Characters having massive change of demeanour not in keeping with the show. Remember little fingers terrible accent in season 5, And John snow overacting everything.
I recently went back to the start again about 6 months ago, Season 1 was good, Season 2 Was great, Season 3 was good, Got 2 episodes into season 4 and had no desire to watch it again nor season 5. This season at least seems to be back on track but the vast differences to the book is annoying to me but thats a whole other debate.
I think now that there is so many story lines we are missing big parts of character development such as Sansa has now went from shy little girl dreaming of princes to captive and now confident and revengeful looking to regain westeros but with little transition between the states.

There was always a risk that going off book or as where we are now 'out of book' things could have declined but I think they've done it very well in the main. IMO there have been a couple of times this season for the first time I've thought 'hmmm they're trying to follow a few too many story lines too many for my liking.' If you think there are too many characters in the show there are many many more in the books so the shows creators have cut back and made the show more appealing and easier to follow by a wider audience IMO.I think on balance the show is one of the best-EVER.....

It's definitely up there with the best but for me Band of Brotners and The Sopranos are better. I think it's probably the best current tv show. I think on balance the show is one of the best-EVER.....
I've really got to stop watching the episodes early as I need to discuss the episode too early!

Can't beat an episode of GOT for breakfast
Two comments which are not plot related but are to do with the episode:
Finest tits in Westeros just got a new entry, straight in at number one
Rolleyes of the day: Brienne

For me, HBO's GoT, Sopranos and the Wire are the three gems in it's crown.
I'd happily throw Band of Brothers, Boardwalk Empire and season 1 of True Detective into the mix.No doubting they've been involved in pretty much every one of the greatest TV shows so far this century.
