Great episode, best for a while IMO.

I think it's the first one this season that I've felt they've dedicated enough time to each featured plot rather than have too many.

Indeed. Absolutely superb writing, credit where it's due to come up with something like that and backtrack it through 6 books.

"Me: I finally figured out why you have a character named "Hodor."
Martin: Oh?
Me: I was thinking about your comment about wanting to be an elevator operator. It's clear to me now that "Hodor" is short for "Hold the door."
Martin: (laughing) You don't know how close to the truth you are!"

It's genius, I thought the episode was a bit slow until the last 20 minutes or so.

I still don't get how a guy lived in a tree for a couple of thousand years and now bran needs to become him?

Ah, the Gorman stratagem.

Great episode and much better for spending a bit more time on each plot rather than jumping around.

After seeing Bran, fk things up, I now consider that as a possible career choice for Arya, before I reckoned she would eventually get down with the agenda of the Faceless Men.
Not sure how successful she'd be. I can see her doing a runner, and the waif being sent after her.

She can't stick around there forever can she and she needs to put this training into effect smile
Hopefully there is more to her storyline than killing people on her list.

I'm a huge GoT nerd but those tits are in a different league to anything GoT has shown. Even the girl last season.

And Daddario is in Baywatch next year!
