Yes I believe Loras is up there as a jouster while his brother Willas is regarded as the superior swordsman.
Willas is a cripple who Sansa was meant to get married to but was then married to the dwarf.

The end game does seem to be in sight now as its starting to feel rushed if you like. Whereas the other seasons took their time to get where they are now, it seems the peak has been reached and its going down hill now (like a bhp/torque graph).

Though i wonder if its due to the fat nugget getting to involved in it all and never really having an end game or indeed if he actually had an end game and wanted to be 'famous' for leaving a series unfinished, making people wonder?

So not all the book characters courses have caught up then, Jamies has some to go, Blackfish/Edmure

I wonder if Ayra kills the waif then thats her final test?

I don't think 'Clegane-bowl' would be a very good twist. As discussed previously neither are particularly skilled fighters, relying more on size and strength advantage. In the hand tourney in S1 the hound held his own but I think against zombie mountain it's not plausible.

Now before striking the killer blow zombie removed his helm and burst in to tears would be worth seeing....
hehe

It bloody would!!!

I hope Sandor doesn't come back...but I wanna see Gregor smash...GREGOR SMASH!!!!

I don't get how it relates to a fight, rumble would be better.

I am 95% sure I know who Lovejoy will be.

A little unkind. The story of the books is mapped out, and the TV producers know it. Given how long he held the door, it seems a bit odd to think Martin doesn't plan ahead.

The hound is on the floor with the Mountain's foot on his chest about to die.

"Save... Martha..."

"What? 'Ol Mum'm in trouble? Why didn't you say so! I've hated you since you stole my toy as a kid, but this is more important."

"I didn't steal it! I only borrowed it- here have it back, I'm sorry for not asking permission."

She's cheated death. Maybe she can bring the Waifs head back and be even stevens.

I love how noone has even considered the Waif killing Arya even though she's a total superhuman ninja assassin. hehe

Maybe she will die but come back as a "face" and take over her host.

I have the sneaking suspicion that she kills the Waif, uses her face and returns to Jaqen.

Yeah, that Hodor thing...epic.

I think D&D just wanna leave Ireland, it takes up a lot of time, and they always planned for it to be a 7 year thing.

From the books, Loras wasn't the better brother, I had to go check.

As is the case in that world, readers are sort of looked down upon, Willias, Tyrion etc. People who use their finger/mouth to read and like to kill animals are highly regarded.

I thought Meera was great this episode too. She's been a pretty anonymous cook/dogsbody for most of the episodes she's been in, so it was good to see her get to do a bit of acting. I thought her bitter exasperation and sorrow near the end of what has, on balance, been a pretty st life was very well played.

Good to see her loyalty to Bran, too. Though God knows why- I'd be up a tree shouting bad names at him!laugh

I was impressed my Meera too...love those 'all is lost, we're finished, it's over' moments.

Dr Finlay! Haha

I had to go looking, the first two wights we meet way back in S1 were in Benjen's ranging party.

Ah, its the other brother Garlan (in the books) who is a better swordsman: http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Garlan_Tyrell

From next week's trailer we've seen the Blackfish, I'm guessing the Brothers show up next week as well. I'm also gonna guess ep8 or 9 will be a total story episode for the Battle of Winterfell.
I might be mistaken, but I'm sure I read somewhere that one of the episodes will be called Battle of the bds.

Need to rewatch Bran's opening sequence visions in slowmo. Did I see a dragon / dragon shadow flying over King's Landing??
