Daenerys probably has the largest army left anywhere now. Hopefully she'll sweep through some places on her way back to Mereen.
How many Dothraki does she have? It was 8000 unsullied and 2000 second sons right? Before a lot of them seemingly got wiped out by the harpies.

The vale alone had 45,000 troops, and that's only one of the kingdoms. Is there really 35,000 dothraki?

I think Khal Drogo's Khalassar was around 40,000?

What was with Dario? He didn't seem all that pumped when she was doing her thing.

I do wonder how well the Dothraki would stand up in war in Westeros though..

They're raiders at best IMO, used to fighting between themselves and sacking / pillaging.

Stick them on an open battlefield against a proper Westerosi army with armour, regiments, tactics etc and I think they'd get cut down pretty quickly.

Think Dario is realising that whilst she has decent principles, she's touched with the same megalomania as her old man...

After all, it's all very nice talking about ending slavery and hereditary Masters, but then demanding worship from the khalasar to help her retake her 'birthright' sours things a little.

Martin loves his military history. In the history he has written for his world, there is a lil story of how a small group of Unsullied defeat a huge khalassar. The Khalassar did have the number to wipe the Unsullied away, but Dorthaka have only one tactic, charge. Plus they think armour is for wimps. They are scary, but their culture erodes away their numerical advantage.
But then, Danni has a few shots in her licker. biggrin

I wonder if ~10,000 unsullied / second sons are dumped as the main top of the army, with 40,000 Dothraki flanking round the sides and 3 dragons over head would cut it though? That's a sight to intimidate most armies? The unsullied are pretty fearless bds after all.

Danny keeps talking about breaking the wheel etc, but surely she appreciates she can't rule the 7 kingdoms without some support from some knee bending? If any other houses rally to her then her number only increases.

Dario's gone from being pretty smug at the way he's managed to bag a cushy job with some wannabe queen through fighting, charm and a dash of daring do to realising that he's sharing a bed with an unburnable she-witch-come-deity hell bent on conquering the entire world and probably capable of doing so.

His flippancy was great against the foil of Jorah's reverence, and the rest only know her as breaker of chains, etc, but he's now had a shot of Jorah's reality which changes their relationship standing somewhat, she looks a lot less naive that's for sure. st just got real. hehe

Didn't friendzone and Dario discuss 100k Dothraki before going in to rescue princess dragon? Not all fighters probably but that's a lot of people.

Which raises and interesting point, how are they going to feed that many people once in Westeros and how will they cope up North in winter? They won't be equipped or ever encountered snow. It will be Napoleon and the Russian campaign all over again.

Can you disguise yourself as someone if you haven't already had their face donated in the house of black and white?
In the prev series, just before she goes blind arya sees both jaqen and her own face on someone else after he/they/whoever drinks the poison?

I think he was a little bit afraid, realising her true power and how bonkers she might be

I do wonder if Jaqen blinded arya as a test, but also as traiing, and he knew Arya wouldnt poison the actress in the end, as she is a 'good' person (wondering if the faceless men have a sort of code (possibly reaching a bit here). The waif is just cruel and Jaqen wants a more balanced thinker as a faceless man assassin, so he promised the waif she could kill arya, but he has a good idea that Arya will win and become faceless.....maybe.

Yeah I really want Jaqen to be a good guy, but that's not guaranteed- he is an assasin, after all.

One thing I am slightly suspiscious of is when he said that one way or another there would be a face added to the vault- surely if a contract was agreed on the actress they can't renege on the deal just because their apprentice screwed up? So either it was a test and Arya can kill the Waif or that actress is getting killed anyway.

Money has been paid, and so there will always be a new face. Might refer to anyone though, including the waif.

The show doesn't add dialogue for the hell of it, they don't have the time, and Jquen told us the story of how the faceless men came to be, destroying the slave masters of Valaria. So we know they didn't start out as humanless mercenaries, but they do what needs to be done...will this have an impact?

Tommen/Margery seem genuinely popular with the proles and the church. For the first time in ages, Kings Landing actually looks safe...

So I can imagine you're right. hehe Dany coming with her freedom, etc, but blowing up KL and killing the most loved leader since Rhaegar.
When the sparrow was confronted by Jamie, who noticed the way Margery, looked down left as if planning/plotting.

Not sure why patriarch Tyrell said/thinks they've 'lost'. They've won bigger than they could possibly have hoped with saint Margery. Could she possible think Margery has been broken.

They've been out-manoeuvred by the Sparrow. They've lost control of the king.

A king is easily murdered. Especially one like Tommen.
