Why wouldn't Mark Addy without the beard, any grey hairs covered and few pounds less not do, it's only 17 years (ish) ago.

That was really all I could think of. But if she is sworn to protect her, it would be prudent not to.

Peytr doesn't know that, remember he's already killed plenty just covering his tracks. And based on her previous walk-into-a-tavern-and-tell-everyone-your-mission thing when she got some gingerbread for her trouble I don't think I'd trust her either.

I think Robert is meant (not wholly obviously GRR doesn't work like that, but mostly) to be like the real life Henry 8. He has badly gone to seed by the time we meet him, fat and revolting (sorry Mark. biggrin ) and his fall from athletic grace mirrors the country, the country has gone to seed like it's king because of it's poor governance.
Henry 8/Robert were giant jocks in their prime, Henry was a badass wrestler, like this guy. biggrin

Robert was meant to be so strong he had a warhammer that other men couldn't even swing. biggrin
I've seen Mark in the boring, Atlantis, I don't buy him as a fighter, I think it would be horrible miscasting to have him as one of the toughest fighters on the continent.

Yes, the mad king and the rebellion etc to see Robert come to the throne. I'd like to see that.
I meant more Aegons conquest and the formation of the seven kingdoms, although I agree a prequel about Robert's Rebellion would be great too. The highlight of it would be seeing Robert killing Rhaegar, who sounds highly irritating!.

Maergery must have something up her sleeve to speak to Cersei like that, especially as her grandmother has left the city.

Serious female passive aggressive nastiness from Margery and Cersei. Great episode.

But she has no visible support or muscle/thugs, unlike Cersei.

I thin sucking the kings cock is enough, her winding him up like a toy in the bedroom scene was all Queen of Thorns. biggrin

Like the welsh accents for the Volentenes. biggrin

That's what I said the mrs, one is in decline and can see the power slipping though her fingers.
The other is a bit cocky though.

Yaaaas! When he started pleading for mercy I was genuinely afraid Jon was going to let him off. Takes me back to Jon telling Bran to watch as Ned chopped the deserter!

Can tell that it impressed Stannis and I think even Father Jack was sitting there willing Slynt to STFU.

and he may have got Ser Alisser Thorne onside as well... you could see that Thorne thought Jon was going to get him to dig or oversee the latrines so when he got promoted to 1st Ranger it was a pleasant surprise

These female main characters keep their modesty covered up these days frown

I nearly cheered when Jon beheaded him, a great moment. Sansa appears to be playing the part quite well, but Baelish wins consistently in GoT, so I think he's well in control of the situation. He managed to use her to gain control of the Eerie, now Winterfell and new alliances.

How long before Sansa and Theon bump into each other?

Jon was obviously playing with him there, but I think it's a bitter pill. THe type of person that Thorne is, eventually I rckon it'll twist in him that it was the bd that gave him his best job. Throne is just too full of bile I reckon to accept anything good from Jon. Or he'll be pretty conflicted between glass half empty/half full.

Wait....
I laugh-gulped/clucked when that happened, I too...for a second thought maybe he'll let him off, old croc tears tt-face. Watch the reaction of the brother stood next to Jon, it's brilliant.
So much going on here, it harks back to Ned using Ice to chop off the deserters head, Jon watched, and as THronecast said, Janos was the guy responsible for Ned's downfall which led to him being beheaded by Iilyn/Joff.
I think Littlefginger is just the best at adapting ans juggling...how many plates can he keep going at the same time though? biggrin
