Anchorman 2. It probably actually takes a reasonable effort to make a comedy which isn't funny.

Law Abiding Citizen - Started off promisingly enough but became totally laughable and unbelievable by the end. It's a shame because up until about half way I was enjoying it.

I'm sorry but I just cant see how anybody could give Black Swan a rating of "zero". I can maybe understand if it isn't 'your thing', but to not be able to appreciate the theatrics of it all as well as the dark under tones baffles me.
If you look at the reviews on IMDB they are divided between very high and 1 star (lowest you can give I think) with very few in between.

So clearly people either love it or hate it. I hated it!

I finally got around to watching Django Unchained. What a shambolic mess of a movie. Second only to Death Proof in the growing catalogue of Tarantino stinkers.

White House Down

I was not disappointed, as I was expecting it to be shyte, corny, non-credible, dumb - everything bad about American movies wrapped up in neat package.

Had a good laugh at certain points, but not where the director intended

2/10 gets 2 marks for some good kit being used to shoot stuff yeeeeaaaahhhhh!!!!

Dredd.

Rubbish bad guy girl, unexciting action, crappy sidekick, dull story.

I think I preferred the Sly version tbh (and that wasn't great at all).

Ha we watched this last night, have had it for months but have only just been bored enough to put it on and actually I thought it was alright!

Expected very little so that helped.

I'd say it was better than the Sly version but that's really not saying a lot.

Kick Ass 2.

I thought Kick Ass was pretty good, a new take on the whole superhero genre. Kick Ass 2 was just tripe...Hit Gril is now a teenager and doesn't get on with the cool girls.....blah blah blah.

st plot but some good eye candy in both the female and car based forms so not a complete waste of an hour and a half. Wouldn't watch it again though.

Much closer in tone to the comic, I really enjoyed it.

The Stallone one looked good but the plot was an abortion.

Likewise. It had some fun moment but overall there was none of the excitement or danger of the original. That scene where she gets revenge on the cool girls was just plain weird

I absolutely loved Dredd, way more than I should have, probably. My Grandad used to post me a copy of 2000 AD every week for many years, I know the charaters well and think this was a great stab at Dredd, Mega City One, Mega Blocks etc. Even loved the sound track but hey I'm quite aware my taste could often be described as "quirky".

As a bad film contribution I'm going with 47 Ronin. It should have ticked the boxes for the sort of cobblers I like but I thought it was terrible, I gave up.

12 years a slave. Thoroughly depressing from start to finish. Slow paced and was in danger of disappearing up it's own arse at one point. I felt slightly patronised by the way the film was shot. Not worthy of any oscars. Schindlers List was miles better. Fassbender was good though. 4/10

'American Hustle'

Garbage, meandering nonsense, I thought.

Style over substance. 5/10
Accurate summary. I was also a bit disappointed. Hot women. I enjoyed the bit where "Goodbye yellow brick road" was played. The rest was meh. Instantly forgettable film. 3.5/10

Million Ways To Die In The West. Not rubbish but if you enjoy Ted and Family Guy and expected a Seth Mcfarlane flick to deliver more of the same, you'll be somewhat disappointed. Although I did sit through it thinking of the unspeakable things I'd like to do to Charlize Theron.

She was the best thing in the film for sure.

Yeah Dredd was excellent, best comic book film for a while.

Don't know if it's been mentioned on this thread but Only God Forgives is possibly the worst movie I've sat through in many a year. Ryan "I'm a bit moody and don't like dialog" Gosling. Self indulgent art house, dreamy Karaoke scenes, virtually no dialog, unbelievable characters who are all so unpleasant you don't care about them. The list of how cruddy this film is goes on and on. Just awful.
