I think when you say oscar winners can't act and people who have BAFTAs/EMMYs a plenty for comedy arent funny - your judgment may be off?

Wolf of Wall Street

Stupid, clumsy, witless

I cannot believe that Martin Scorsese directed this film

Not just me then. I normally get strong reactions when I tell people how much I was dissapointed with this one trick movie.

Whaaaaat??

Okay that's not his best film, but Forrest Gump and Apollo 13 are way up there amongst the best of them.

Apollo 13 is one of my favourite films, love it, never liked FG, however surely everyone likes Bachelor Party!

Yes, yes, but apart from Apollo 13, Saving Private Ryan, Castaway, Green Mile, Catch Me If You Can, Captain Phillips, Turner & Hooch, and those others... what did Tom Hanks ever do for us?
Joe versus the volcano?

Liberal Arts

The architect guy from How I Met Your Mother and Elizabeth Olsen.

I watched it mainly because Elizabeth Olsen is a great actor, but the plot was a wkfest of epic proportions set in a steoretype of american west coast academe with wholly unrealistic characters and dubious motivations.

To give you an idea of the film, Elizabeth Olsen's character is called Elizabeth, aka Izzy. Oh how we laughed...

Ick.

Is his greatest contribution.

Note that it's not a film.

I should have listened to this thread frown

Need for Speed - how can a film with so many good cars be so st? parts of the 'racing' scenes were so obviously run at 10mph it was laughable. rolleyes

and forgive me if I'm wrong, but when has a Supercharged engine given off turbo waste noises as the Mustang did in the film? I know the charger whine sound, but wasn't aware it made a 'ptshh' sound on throttle off?
