It's comical in parts but the novelty of a foul mouth talking bear wears thin after an hour of watching and it just all becomes a bit silly.

I believe there is a Ted 2 coming out soon starring Liam Neeson which is quite a surprise. He doesn't normal feature in potential tripe.
He was in A Million Ways to Die in the West!
Guess he's not seen Taken 3 either!
Also, wasn't he in The Phantom Menace?

.
And that film where he's fighting wolves in the arctic. Into the Grey or something?
The Grey, which i I thought was a really good film

300 Rise of an Empire.

Truly truly dire. 3/10. (And this is coming from a fan of the original film).

Gone Girl. More like gone to sleep. What a snooze fest with a laughable plot (and plot holes).

I should post this on both the bad AND good films threads to be honest but here goes...

Big Trouble in Little China

Loved it back in the day, more recently - however time has not been kind to it frown The special effects were quite poor even then - now? Oh dear!! That being said there is still a lot of charm to be found in this film and some engaging performances though which do rescue it but I suspect it's one I won't be watching again

The Hundred-foot Journey.

An Indian family set up a restuarant in a French village, opposite Helen Mirren's Michelin starred eatery.

It was ste. God alone knows how it got 7.3 on IMDB.

Not a bad film, clearly, since it has several Oscar nominations, but I thought Birdman was a load of dull, pretentious nonsense.

The Last Kung Fu Monk... some good fight scenes but the rest looked like a home movie - at best! Avoid

The Hunters... TV movie, looks like a pilot for a series that never made it. Not bad, just not good - overall a little 'meh' and pretty forgettable

I watched Brick Mansions the other day - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1430612

The only reason I watched was because it had Paul Walker in it, I know he was never a great actor and it was never going to be a great film but I have a soft spot for him so watched it anyway.

It's not completely terrible but doesn't really work too well, the acting is quite wooden but there's some impressive 'free-running'.

5/10

We'll Never Have Pairs - a romcom where the male (Wolowitz [sp] from TBBT) lead is a whiney little bh and (mostly) totally unlikeable

The Bourne Legacy, not seen it before had no interest in a Bourne Free film and Renner always reminds me of Peter Baynham (Dr No vocal chords in I'm Alan Partridge). http://youtu.be/K4KLGdxkhRI

Nothing happened until the last 30 minutes. Pretty routine repeat of previous films.

I hate Channinng Tatum because he's talentless average joe. However, due to all the hype around Foxcatcher (and some great supporting cast), decided to give it a go. Got incredibly bored half through it, but watched to the end. What a piece of pointless rubbish! The only thing I liked is Steve Carrell's performance, and even then I think he overdone it - the disgust is very strong with his character. 3/10, each point for Carrell, Ruffalo and Ms. Miller.

Inside Llewyn Davis

Not one of the Cohen's finest.

Story didn't go anywhere (in my opinion), and not worth sticking with until the bitter end.

Shame as it started out very promising.

Yup this is a pretty poor movie riding off the back of the success of the previous ones. Renner reminds me of Michael J Fox. Fortunately the doc in this movie was a bit hotter.

Transcendence.

It was awful, I can't even begin to describe how much the whole thing didn't make sense.
