Jupiter Ascending
Considering the money that was obviously poured into this film, why couldn't someone actually bother to provide a script with bit more depth than this? The CGI was, admittedly, very good but the script was thin and some of the actors were unconvincing.
I think that this sums up perfectly what's wrong with many films made for cinema today. I watched 'The Internship' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2234155 this weekend.
It's a pointless paint by numbers gentle comedy, there's nothing original or interesting about any of it.
At least it wasn't as bad as Interstellar.
4/10

Avengers age of ultron

Cliched, hackneyed and contrived.
Not often I get dissapointed at a movie, but left me actually annoyed at how bad it was.
Are you a fan of the Marvel films in general Pesty?2/10

To me, Marvel is now to cinema what sugar is to the food industry. Just too much of it everywhere.
Winter soldier not so much for very similar reasons to this.
I don't think its saturation*, just bad writing and too much deus ex machina. Too much of it was predictable.
- i am getting a bit tired of joss's snappy dialogue. Quite often I'm finding it doesn't fit and it's just too snappy. That is very close to jumping the shark.

If you've not seen the Netflix Daredevil series yet I can highly recommend. Like nothing Marvel have done before and IMHO their best work.

Fair enough, not seen Ultron yet and also getting a bit fatigued of the Marvel Universe so may have a similar view, although I did enjoy WS.

I've only watched three episodes of it, but it's so much more grown up and serious and that's what I like.If you've not seen the Netflix Daredevil series yet I can highly recommend. Like nothing Marvel have done before and IMHO their best work.

A Good Day to Day Hard.
I don't think I've ever seen an actor sleepwalk his way through a film as much as Bruce Willis has in this. From start to finish it's as if he's got one eye on the departure lounge waiting to get the hell out of there.
And what's with the car chase? Totally implausible. Cars bouncing and flying in the air after slight taps from that armoured truck thing which escapes without a scratch despite hitting seemingly hundreds of cars.
A travesty compared to the previous four films.

Put simply - it isn't a Die Hard film, it's a film with John MacClane in it. This video sums it up perfectly in slightly more detailI don't think I've ever seen an actor sleepwalk his way through a film as much as Bruce Willis has in this. Ghost in the Shell: Arise "Ghost Pain" the new Fumnation english dub
Its bloody awful, it looks good, buttttt for 20 years we've had the same voice actors do voices for GITS, but Fumnation are doing the dub rather than Manga USA, and the new voice actors are woefully poor, they are just reading lines, there's no voice acting here.
my advice, stop watching GITS when you get to Solid State, Arise deeply disappoints

X: Night of Vengence
On the basis that the main character was played by that beautiful Australian actress from Spartacus (Viva Bianca) I thought I'd give this one a go. Sure there was plenty of nudity to keep my attention for a short while but the very limited story is played out so slooowwwllly that I stopped watching and started surfing PH - a sure sign a film isn't a gripper.
It never really got going.
Kingsman
I'm not sure I approached this one right. My wife enjoyed it but I thought it was too silly with really crappy CGI and unbelievably bad acting from people who are normally superb. The main cast seemed entirely like fish out of water. SLJ's lisp was just daft, Colin is no James Bond, and Mark Strong's accent was distracting. And the main "kid" was someone I couldn't have cared less about.
I've got Arnold Schwarzenegger's Maggie to watch next. I'm slightly sceptical about it because it seems to be more a family drama than a "zombie" film (which is the actual background story). Having said that, his acting has been well received for a change.

Has Sex Tape been mentioned yet?
Utter tosh.
One of the worst films I've seen in a long time. I lasted less than 30 minutes. Utter tosh.
