I still haven't seen this - why is it so bad?

Several reasons. My main gripe was the utter stupidity and illogical decisions of all those on the planet - supposedly all top scientist.

I think the main reason is the fact that most of the characters act the exact opposite to any other normal person in almost every situation.

More holes in the story than a fishing net, mostly because as others have said no-one acts anything like a real person. It was like watching a load of outtakes, you just expect a better version exists somewhere.

Shame really, as the effects & idea are good.

Life of Pi and Open Water. I hear there is an Open Water 2, but I couldn't entertain the idea.

I recommend Open Water to my brother for giggles. He says he'll never get that time back.

Life of Pi we watched around a friends house with some other folks. Up there as a dreadful night out. Not sure how the others kept watching, I was struggling to keep my eyes open. Luckily an 'emergency' came up and all of us had to go to the neighbouring town to aid a friends family member. We made our excuses from here rather than go back to continue to finish the film.

I'd water watch Open Water again than Life of Pi.

Watch The Reef. It's a much better version of Open Water.

Arbitrage with Richard Gere. Lacks in every area; plot, story, acting etc. 5/10

Essex Boys Retribution

I admit my expectations were low but it is genuinely the worst film I have ever seen. The acting is jaw droppingly bad and there is no story line at all.

It is basically a sequel to an original that itself should never have been made in the first place

Its on Netflix

Dialogue, acting, story, premise. I love all the alien movies, even Resurrection, plus Ridley Scott rarely fuffs up; but this was execrable.

IMDB rates them both around the same 5.7% and 5.8%. I'll bide my time.

After searching through what film we would like to go and see we finally landed on Unfriended. Paid the ridiculous cinema prices and set about to watch what seemed to be a good movie on the trailer alone. Do not waste your money watching this, if you must see wait until it's on showbox or whatever! I spent the best part of 1 hour 30minutes thinking I was on the computer myself that is the film! It starts as a computer screen and ends as a computer screen!! I don't think I would have minded the film so much if I hadn't paid the prices cinemas now charge to enter. Guess I'm just a tight git!! 😂😂

Absolution - Steven seagull, not bad per se (well allowing for the fact it is a SS film) just bland/derivative. The lardy one is in, yet another, b-movie set in eastern Europe - this time with Vinnie Jones as chief baddie. 35%?

Can't believe that it could be worse than rise of the footsoldier which is by far the worst of the "Essex" gangster film genre, nasty, unnecessary waste of film stock, time & money.

Mad Max Fury Road.

No story, it's just a chase for half the film, they then turn around and it's a chase in the opposite direction for the other half...how does a script like this get the 'go'? How long was it it, a page? Why would Hardy be in this?
