Shortly after that point I gave up. I'll assume it didn't improve from there on.

Regards a sequel, I sincerely hope not.
This is a brief sum up of the end of the film, not sure if the film is worth it but SPOILERS!! hehe

The bit after the end credits is why I asked about a sequel, not that I'd want to see it for anything other than comedy value.

Well, to add some controversy, I watched "Black Lightning" (Chernaya Molniya) this weekend, a russian film with dubbed over english, and I quite liked it getmecoat

The Happening. So bad I just gave up on it after about 40 minutes and thought WTF?
Terrible film, although that weird bloke obsessed with the plants was kind of funny, in a Saturday night semi-pissed way.

That M Night Shamayalanamanalayanamalanamayalanam guy really has done more than his fair share of turkeys, hasn't he?

The Happening was indeed dire.

Expendables - dreadful film. It's like Sly and Rourke are in a race to see who can get the worst plastic surgery.

I did wonder why it was only a tenner on Blu-Ray.
What the hell. Get out.

No, he's right. It was awful. I watched it drunk with mates and the only saving grace was that barking-mad automatic shotgun used near the end.

Had I been sober I might well have turned it off.

Splice. Whoever cooked up that idea is just a fking mentalist. Made me realise I'm really not a fan of Adrien Brody either.

I watched "Death Race" - It could easily have been an entertaining "B" movie effort, but it was totally ridiculous...

The story was rubbish, the acting was questionable and the physics was appalling and in no way, shape or form, believable..

But

It had an armoured 911.

I still chuckle when I think of that biggrin.

As an entertaining violence with cars, girls and guns film goes, it did the job for me. If you're criticising it for acting, plot and physics then its not the film for you. Its one of those films where you need to flick the off switch on your brain and watch the big bangs.

Battlefield LA or whatever it's called.

I think it was a movie, but I might have been watching a 90 minute recruitment advert for the US Marine Corps, made especially for the hard of thinking.

Make a carbon copy of Independence Day, and then remove all the good things from it. Both minutes. You now have the train wreck I endured.

I thought the concept would be a great one, but I think it was the fact that there were too many close up shots - and too many "moody dark" shots that made it daft.

I do, however, appreciate the concept of the "brain in neutral" film - I really, really liked Starship Troopers which, let's be honest, doesn't require much brain power....

Titanic 2!

I was surfing the channels and spotted this and had to figure out how it was possible. Imagine how bad you think it is, now multiply that by infinity and it's significantly worse than that.
Ah christ, it hasn't sunk again has it? You'd have thought they would have learnt from the first time!

I haven't seen that one, but the SyFy channel have their own "version" - Battle of Los Angeles.

Which is quite probably a billion times worse.

Its only saving grace is Nia Peeples in a skin tight outfit.
