The Shooter (Wahlberg again - are his worst films on some kind of special offer for TV companies at the moment?) - I bailed at about 30mins in.

Based on a very good book by Stephen Hunter. Tried to watch the film but loved the book.

Oh, one I forgot we saw last weekend.

"Monsters" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1470827/

This one has ok acting, good SF, good setting and might be onto something, until you discover that there actually is no story and the movie is going nowhere fast. The thing is, it's not fast-paced action or gore either.
It's just a big load of an-hour-and-a-half you thinking the story will unfold and you'll find out more. Which you don't.
Like they had 3 hours of material but ran out of budget at 1,5h.

No, he's right. It was awful. I watched it drunk with mates and the only saving grace was that barking-mad automatic shotgun used near the end.

Had I been sober I might well have turned it off.
Follow him out.

Made the mistake of watching Starship Troopers 3 (Was there a 2?) and gave up after half an hour. Looked like something cooked up by 11 year olds as a school film project and the arachnids were cardboard cut outs FFS.
I love this film for sheer comedy value. You need to watch to the end as you are missing so much! ....Random girls with baps out.....A huge Scorpion monster that doesn't actually move as they run out of budget....marines running around with guns that look like painted super soakers..... BRILLIANT!

So how is that defined as a "bad film"?

I just didn't 'get' it. Nothing against any of the actors in it, and I generally love mindless action films - Commando is probably in my top 5 of any film.

Splice. Whoever cooked up that idea is just a fking mentalist. Made me realise I'm really not a fan of Adrien Brody either.
That was shocking. Also agree with the OP about Skyline. Utterly terrible film which shouldn't have been made.

The Hungry Caterpillar, I mean Human Centipede was on SyFy a couple of weeks back. That was bad but I had to keep watching.

Maybe they ran out of time after showing the beginning twice?

It was better than I expected.

Ending is crap, should have ended it on the roof top.
