frown I really loved that film, I thought it was excellently written. Each to their own I guess!

ETA: this sums my thoughts of this film nicely

You don't have to be in prison to be imprisoned. Jacks wife truly had haunting eyes. I think the only person who was realsed from prison was Norton.

Ah well each to his own, Im no film connoisseur. I do like a clever film that makes you think, but it needs to have some good pace which this didnt. But then I do love films like transformers which is basically the equivalent of face rape for 2 hours whilst sat infront of a continuous explosion.

The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Meh.

P.S. Note to whoever made this remake. A Sidewinder missile is intended for air-to-air use only. It is useless against ground targets as it homes in on infra red emissions from other aircraft.

So there. And don't make any more bad movies like that EVER AGAIN!

And Reaper UAV's are powered by Pusher turbo props not afterburning turbofans!

True Grit (not worth the remake, IMHO).

Season of the Witch (speechless)

Certain sidewinders can be used against ground targets (although they are primarily an air to air weapon)

Yeah, i watched the god awful remake too, come back 1950's edition, all is forgiven.

And yeah it was things like the reapers using afterburners and sidewinders, when in real life they have props and would use either hellfire missiles or maverick A-G missiles, and its not as if it would be hard to have had that in the film.

Yes its pedantic, but if you know about such things it spoils the film, especially when you know it would have been easy to fix.

She chose to watch "No Strings Attached" with Natalie portman and Ashton Kutchner.

It is not a Rom Com. It is a Rom. And not a good one. I slept quite a bit.

Yeah tell me about it. They could have at least put a few car chases and one liners in to spice it up a bit

This.

"azta la vizta babie" when they are put in the stove, something like that would have made it a bit better.

Five pages in and no-one has mentioned The Room!? The film that regularly tops any poll on the worst film ever made!

Written by, produced by and starring the and only Tommy Wiseau. This film is so so so bad I really don't even know where to begin tearing it apart. It has now become a staple 'watch it when we're all pissed and yell at the screen all the way through film' for my housmates and I.

Seriously just look it up online and prepare to have the concept of awful redefined for you.

The Room is a latter day Troll 2 or Plan 9 - it goes beyond bad into the level of unintentional masterpiece

Just watched Drive Angry. Great cars but a bit of a let down to be honest. The problem with watching a 3d film in 2d is that you get lots of pointless shots to make an auidence go "oooooh". Not sure if it's part of the transfer but the effects during such sequences were terrible. That aside, seen it all before action film that gave me something to do this evening.

Fichtner on the other hand was brilliant as The Accountant. He's one of those actors who really ought to be getting bigger roles

Transformers:Revenge of the bad film maker. Save I have just watched the first opening scene and it makes me feel ill at how st it is, and at how it should be done for trade descriptions act.
I know a new stto Bay film is being made, but money would be better spent on a new cartoon film, with transformers as the protagonists, it might just work.

Carlos the Jackal, not bad first hour then a point blank SMG gun fight between police and the terroists and only one person gets winged. 3/10

I watched half an hour of Jet Li's 'One'. Just couldn't take any more! Similarly Transformers stayed on for about 10 seconds I think!

Likewise.

Hilarious moments in the cinema for me though. Near the end of the film it deviates from the book to add some action and starts killing off main characters.

The gasps and looks of horror and shellshock on the faces of the people around me were verging on turning into full on tantrums, vomiting and crying. Loved it! I was laughing my head off!

Probably going against the grain somewhat but Skyfall.

What a total load of bks. It was like they deliberately came up with certain sequences just so they could shoehorn another tired old Bond cliche in somewhere. How the hell did they manage to make Javier Bardem comically unscary? Best Bond film ever? Sorry but it's right at the other end of the scale.

I don't so much feel let down by as violated by. Truly awful film.
