My wife is signed off work at the moment due to our twin pregnancy fecking up her body.

She is sofa bound and is fed up of day time tv crap. What series or boxset are good for girls and that I won't mind not watching or following?

I tried The Wire but I got the look....hehe

She is a girls girl so minimum shooting and blood preferable (unless some sort of hospital drama).

Hmm, a guilty pleasure of mine I'm afraid...

ER, S&TC and Buffy all watched. House is a good shout.

Probably helps to eliminate ones she has watched(off the top of my head):

Glee
Desperate Housewives
Cold Feet
Friends

Don't want to be rude, but I think your wife might be a gay.

Friends, season 1 to 10 can be had as a box set for ~£40 these days. In terms of laughs/hour and hours/£1 it's not bad.

My wife loves Charmed and Ghost Whisperer, if your OH is in to Buffy and the like she may like these.

Do not, under any circumstances, leave your pregnant wife alone with the Grey's Anatomy boxset.

The sick, sociopathic barstewards used to leave my wife in floods of tears on a regular basis during her pregnancy.
Sick babies, dying mothers, it's not worth it.

Unless you're there beside her to offer a supportive hug and a "it's only TV" as the credits roll, you'll depress her for the day.

Any we don't want that, now, do we? biggrinbiggrin

SATC, Cougar Town, even that gladiator one would all be preferable…

ETA: Another vote for Mad Men. Watched Series 1 when I was off work with a back injury, well written.

Danger Will Robinson, Danger!

Even IF the OP is built like Crixus, then she already hates him for impregnating her and causing her this pain. So if he isn't, then it's just going to be worse biggrin

Alias if she likes a bit more action. A mate's wife is a complete 24 nut so worth a go if she's not seen it. Might like Six Feet Under too.

Comedy-wise, there's How I Met Your Mother & Big Bang Theory which my gf (and I) are addicted to.
