You know, we really shouldn't sidetrack this incredibly serious thread with humour.

It seems as if Chris Huhne was sent to prison for perverting the course of justice. Hard to believe I know, but seems genuine and pretty conclusive; maybe that's a wrap?

Let the people judge!

I suspect after that final breakdown rant, on top of the gazillion hysterical and desperate posts you've made on here others might consider that you are the priceless one.

You haven't considered that perhaps, just perhaps, you have taken this a tiny bit too seriously? Maybe ask your wife therapist...

Well he's eventually resorted, as before, to personal / general abuse. It only needs a spelling / grammar issue to be raised and it will be a full house.

I found this one more amusing, back around page 13. Well not exactly laugh I suppose.

Further prediction

He will be replaced by a self interested corrupt tt who wants to make himself look even more "green" then the current tt

if you can give me one single advantage of him stepping down i will be impressed

It's as near as we are going to get to an admission that they have been unable to put a proper argument forward.

They feel that 'it's serious because it's serious' is self explanatory smile

It's just as well you introduced this key information when you did, otherwise the thread mught have bimbled on and on for many pages with some people claiming he was in Court for speeding or swapping points and that the sentence had nothing to do with a serious matter like perverting the course of justice. If it had gone really off-track these people might have asked pointless questions like repeatedly asking other people to repeat things and making stuff up just to fil the vacuum. If past experience is anything to go by this would involve appeals to tautology and the mis-attribution or invention of comments around the serious nature of miscarriages of justice which can result in the admittedly serious matter of jail time for innocent people - though it's a good job there's a range of penalties.

It's only saintly if you show patience repeatedly, like when people repeatedly ask you dumb questions about repeating things, or nake up comments you never made and attribute them to you time after time.

Telling that you are able to provide a detailed explanation of saintliness, but are unable to provide any explanation at all (bar 'serious because serious') as to why PtCoJ in relation to point swapping is so serious.

Why not just admit that the real reason is not serious-because-serious, but serious-because-Huhne?

Many people on this thread (and others) have explained to you in a variety of ways how and why PCoJ attracts the sentencing it does.

If you still don't get it, you have to ask yourself; is it that the teachers are bad, or the pupil is thick?

Nothing to add at this stage except too ask why you don't just admit that the real reason is not serious-because-serious, but serious-because-Huhne?

More repeat selective blindness, whoda thunkit. There was mention some time ago about taking the same line if it happened to be the Pope or Mary Poppins.

Part of the rationale for posting a 2012 article about the tragic fate of a senior police officer was the fact that it's not something that depends on the identity of the criminal.

Blinkered eyes claimed not to see, at this stage a repeat occurrence and another attrition loop would only be predictable.
