.... isn't Huhnes ex supposed to have discussed the possibility of taking the points with a female friend who is a judge, who advised against such action?
SOmeone will correct me but wasnt a Judge seriously bolloked for not reporting the conversation or some such during the whole process or post the alleged 'offence' when asked by Ms Pryce?Found a link (sorry about the source but it was the easiest link )

Judge Briscoe!
No doubt he will get off on a technicality or 'legal win' and then spout about the 'sword of justice' or similar - hopefully with a similar outcome (Google it if you cant remember)

Taken from another thread: It is possibly a pre-trial hearing where the defence will put a 'no case to answer' submission to the court. One might be tempted to think that the wife will withdraw her statements. Huhne is going which tends to indicate he will come out of the court with a halo and tell the awaiting throng that he's innocent and has no stain on his character.
I may be wrong, but my understanding is that 'no case to answer' submissions come at 'half time' during trial, after the prosecution has been heard. Perhaps there's an abuse of process hearing taking place, but I haven't seen it reported anywhere.10 Pence Short said:

So tight that it hasn't even made it to some boards such as this and Guido?

Except for certain circumstances or by order of the court, hearings are normally held in open court and can be reported.
Sorry - I was referring particularly to these proceedings. My understanding/guess is that there needs to be a good reason for reporting restrictions or 'in camera' and I was wondering what they may be in this particular case.
Reporting restrictions wouldn't stop someone popping along and watching? as opposed to nobody allowed in to Court bar the snakes and their clients???
Can't find anything on today's proceedings
