If you come under fire, point your compass north, run, and call me on the mobile. smile

This is what happens when you have strict gun control and the people have been disarmed. A friend in Arizona has to clear his ranch in case any Coyote smugglers are squatting on his property.

Change is coming.
yeah give everyone guns

that will end well

Or when you have a corrupt police force and live next door to millions of drug addicts.

Looks like the problem is caused by those north of the border tbh.

Who would want to be a juror on this trial, constantly looking over your shoulder?
.

At least his lawyer has a sense of humour - wonder if he said this with a straight face.

Giving jurors special protections “sends the message that he or she needs to be protected from Mr Guzman. From there, members of the jury could infer that Mr Guzman is both dangerous and guilty,” Eduardo Balarez, Mr Guzman’s defence attorney, wrote in a court filing on the matter.

That's about the size of it!

Drugs head north. Guns head south.

Just finished a book 'El Narco' by Ioan Grilo which goes into detail about Mexico's drug and gang problem from its origins to what Mexico's future may hold for itself (unless radical change is made in both Mexico and the US, Mexico is basically fked). Well worth a read.

Recent video doing the rounds.

Son made to watch father tortured and decapitated he’s then tortured skinned his rib cage opened and heart cut out while he’s alive.

But we can’t call it a st hole country or people will get offended.

Are you questioning the authenticity of the remark above? Do you believe videos like what has been mentioned exist?
Or a you genuinely interested in knowing if Pesty has seen the video?

Unfortunately there are plenty of videos on the net of cartel members torturing and being executed, very similar to the one described above.

Whenever there is a thread about guns, crime and the United States, we get gold it is -obvious- and -common sense- that the US needs more gun control.

Mexico has very strict gun laws. It's not easy for private citizens to own guns, they are tightly regulated. Oh that's right, Mexico also has shocking violent crime rates which are multiples of the US.

Do you think the problem is the easy availability of guns from their next door neighbour finding their way into their country? If Scotland had a firearm policy like the US and there were 112 firearms for every 100 Scots do you think England would have more or less firearms crime?
