Whole life on each indictment. Guilty on all 10. Academic but 4-500 years.

To be fair, if they're serious about him staying they'll probably stick him in ADX Florence: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADX_Florence

Probably headed for ADX Florence. This is the highest security level in the BoP.

The worst place you could end up in as far as US federal prisons go.

No escape from there.

Bottomless pit for sure. I’d wager with what she knows she has an insurance policy in place.

To put it mildly.

Not only will be almost certainly end up in ADX Florence, but he'll be under "Special Administrative Measures".

Horrific existence.

My guess is the Cartel will kill her in due course. She'll be aware of a lot of details, and she'll be desperate to "save him"

It's how they operate

Isn't that where hook-hand Hamza and the Shoe-bomber are held?

You can read all about it on wiki but yes Hamza, Richard Reid, Ted Kazynski (unabomber), The 9/11 hijacker who failed, Tyler Bingham (aryan brotherhood). It was built by the state in order to bring in money to the local community they take the most dangerous prisoners from other prisons and keep them in a secure but isolated environment. I recall the windows are in the roof so prisoners have no sense of there location and exercise is just outside of the cell alone in a space about twice the the size of your cell.

Its not like your chained to a wall an electrocuted but slowly but surely the sheer futility of living a life like that is bound to drive you to suicide etc

Yep. There's a list of some of the more notorious crooks that are residing there on wiki, along with a few details of the set up (but not much, as you can likely we'll imagine).

eek

Who'd want to have been a juror on that trial?

https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-news/...

Apparently Guzman's attorneys had promised that no jurors would be killed. Well, that's a whole lot of reassurance right there.

I didn't realise that jury selection was made with the accused in the room with them.

I wouldn’t want to be anything to do with that trial.

I’m sure the D.A and his whole team will be under protection for some time.

Hamza is desperate to go back to Belmarsh.

“One of the preacher's lawyers continues: 'We strongly believe that the conditions of his confinement violate the expectations of the European Convention on Human Rights and the promises that were made by the US government to the [British and European] courts as part of the extradition process.'

He adds: 'He would go back to Belmarsh in a second if he could.' ”

Yeah, there's a tonne of human rights lawyers arguing against the conditions at ADX Florence, and specifically, special administrative measures.

You'd literally be better off on death row, from what I've read.

That said, I'm happy s Hamza, Reid etc are rotting away there.
