I watched that when it was posted a while ago.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25ahuiRCs8k
It's shocking to think that even in 1978 people like Lydon were expressing disgust about 'not being allowed to talk about it'.
Everyone knew but couldn't speak of it.

What it did show once again was what a truly horrible and incredibly devious man he really was.
And that for a long time, dirty blokes touching up young girls wasn't actually considered that big a deal.Up until last year, I used to work with a woman who will be in her 50's now, and she used to joke at work about "what the lads used to do to me years ago wouldn't be allowed these days".
Turns out that when she was in her 20's and 30's the guys she worked in an almost all-male workplace with would have no hesitations about groping her for fun on an almost daily basis. Grabbing her breasts suchlike.
She laughs about it now, but in all seriousness, she was repeatedly sexually assaulted. There isn't really any other way to put it.
Slightly off topic but still on topic, when are we going to see a US/Hollywood version of what has happened over here? Theres so many stories and rumours that allude to it, but no one seems to have spoken about it except the dude from Goonies, and then hes never actually named anyone.
I personally found it incredible how sucked in Louis was. Even if he never thought he could ever of been the utter deviant he actually was, that scene where Saville is in Louis production offices and Saville is being very sexual to the women present was the point where as a 'boss' Louis should of stepped in and explained .
"these are my staff at work in a professional environment you cant go saying those things to them or taking off your clothes, oh and don't come back again unless your wearing more than some tiny shorts and see through vest Jim..."
But it was the equivalent of a boss inviting the boss of a big contract they are about to land and he turns up and starts being sexual with the female staff, you either leave it and get the contract, or you set pout your own moral code for your staffs sake... Louis chose to keep the vile on safe to keep him sweet because it was making Louis career...... as was pretty much everyone else.
"hey so Jim likes to fiddle with the young girls on the wards... well at least we get to come to work in a 10 million pound office...chill out, don't say anything..."
I have lost a lot of respect for Louis i'm afraid....

We are backward compared to our European competitors for female equality.
