Political bias at BBC - something has to be done surely
Discussion
That was on the 6pm news although rather than phone footage it looked like actually BBC footage and it clearly shows the bloke pushing her over whilst the commentary described something completely different. I was watching it with my parents and we were all a bit perplexed by the pictures being somewhat different to the description being given.
Open Democracy/Our Beeb - 100 ideas for the BBC...
About Our Beeb said:
Our Beeb is a debate on the nature and future of public service broadcasting across Britain in all its forms and media. How can we ensure public service media are creative and accountable to the public? How to ensure that the BBC itself is felt to be 'ours' by the public who fund it and whose many voices it claims to represent?
Free your staff to voice their opinionsI have been on holiday today, but stuck in the house with a cold, listening to Radio 4 much of the day and it is extraordinary how politically biased their schedule is.
From the Today programme this morning constantly criticizing the government and giving final rights of reply to their opponents to the play about the Miners strike this afternoon to the Now Show this evening launching a diatribe about NHS cuts that even they admitted didn't provide any comedic value at all.
Roll on reform.

Until she retired some years ago, a close relative spent most of her working career at the BBC London. She insisted back then that the BBC was very politically biased to the left. We often argued about this as I was convinced her "always vote Tory" stance clouded the issue.
The passing years show she was quite right. No question.

Would you prefer them to bus in a load of UKIP voting hayseeds to run these things?
Nice turn of phrase, it makes for a convincing argument when defending the indefensible. The idea that a politically balanced workforce and, regardless of that, a politically balanced broadcating menu cannot be achieved in London or Salford is total nonsense.turbobloke said:

I've just heard the Saturday repeat of the Now Show, god it was bad. I particularly liked the comedy song at the end about how Corbyn was right about everything and everyone else was wrong.Roll on reform.
Been quiet in here since WW3 kicked off, but even so, how do they justify this?

As far as I can see it's a straight out one sided attack on one candidate in the US elections. And guess which...
I don't remember '21 Things Obama Believes' with mocking points about guns killing people all by themselves and healthcare for all coming from the magic money tree. Did I miss that?

Grace Petrie is a protégé of Billy Bragg, and what I especially don't like about her is her phoney affectation of estuarial English, especially her deliberate dropping of T's to sound working class, and well stupid. By which I mean the way she says "sa-isfaction" and "Labour Par-ee".
I await the time and Penis allow on even a small-C conservative comedian, let alone anyone who might support UKIP.

How is laying out his beliefs attacking him? More like a party political broadcast for one man I would have thought.http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-34903577

It may be part of a series. Does anyone know when we get the Clinton set complete with a mention of Pfizer? There ought to be a footnote on hubby's legacy in the form of a global crunch and crash.
