Political bias at BBC - something has to be done surely

Certainly true. Also, I was listening to HIGNFY last night (whilst still working..), and all the jokes were at the expense of the Tory's and the US Republicans - Herman Cain getting a right thrashing (fair enough, I suppose, he may deserve it - I don't know..)
Then, after this, a comedy show was on, where the first 'jokes' were also political, this time Sara Palin and the Tea Party. Oh yes, and then the BBC 'news' - and we all know what side the BBC was on regarding the EU and UK - not ours! The constant drip-drip-drip of snearing at the 'Right' grated.
I do not watch/listen to a lot of BBC prime time TV any longer, but if that was a sample of the overall picture, I'm glad I don't - it was like flicking through the pages of a left wing rag!
Political jokes tend to be aimed at those in power. I don't remember Labour getting an easy ride from HIGNY between 1997 and 2010.Then, after this, a comedy show was on, where the first 'jokes' were also political, this time Sara Palin and the Tea Party. Anyway, in the hour or so that my wife had BBC1 on last night, it seemed to be a constant barrage of thinly disguised left wing hate for the 'Right'

I would recommend the various political debate programmes on R4 as well as the daily parliamentary report and indeed, programmes like The Moral Maze.
On the environmental front R4 is indeed biased most of the time but it does have a resident climate change sceptic in the form of Dr Philip Stott, who crops up regularly on their nature and science programmes.

Do you ever watch "This Week"?
I hadn't. And having just looked up its slot to see it's on at 2335 on a thursday I'm not surprised. If a TV show airs in a forest...
And it's straight after Question Time - so does pick up a few of the QT stragglers.

The BBC's Political Editor is well known tory stooge Nick Robinson, FFS.

See 43 which just repeats what everybody else knows anyway except BOR apparently
"Nick Robinson is now known by the nickname 'Toenails' here at the Beeb because he's so far up Brown's [derriere] that that's all you can see of him."

Same problem - I use iPlayer daily, but I've never seen this programme. Yet Question Time is permanently fixed somewhere on the front page. As for making it to the end of Question Time... I'm not built of strong enough stuff for that!
The entire content of each day's programming on all the BBC channels is listed for the previous 7 days. If you want to find a programme you've missed, click on teh desired channel, click on the desired day and scroll down through the schedule fior that day for the programme you want to watch. It's dead easy.OK, some programmes may not be available, but most, including This Week, are.
Not just a bias for socialism and against those who make and sell things:

The are also ardent Global Warming doomsayers, so much so that their pensions are invested in that industry.
Their EU bias is a combination of socialism and their aim to become the central EU broadcasting company - the prize of european media.
