They're on top form this morning.

Just before 8am, interviewing Ed Balls about his dancing exploits and attempting to position Trump as some kind of "shock-jock" politician, they ask Balls "And won't you do the same as Trump and keep a far better contestant from winning?" (I paraphrase as I was driving).

It's as if they've just given up any pretences of being unbiased.

Bias?

I'm getting rather annoyed how pro-brexit they appear to be on Today. For example, the papers review always seem to have story about how wonderfully everything is going.

Apart from every single business report since the referendum campaign began, you mean?

Oh Marshie, you do make me chuckle.

Scandalous. Deserves catching it on iPlayer if you miised it.
Justin Webb ended up sounding like a right idiot and got his arse handed to him on a plate.

On a brighter note, I caught Frankie Boyle's American Autopsy on iPlayer last night and, whilst the predictable target of Trump was hit repeatedly from all comers, both Boyle and his all-female panel of guests were actually, IMHO, very balanced and pragmatic in their views. Hillary did not escape severe ridicule and opprobrium and there were even noises of perhaps/hopefully Trump won't turn out to be as bad as we all feared...

I can't remember one single news item from the BBC being pro Brexit. You must listen to some alternate universe BBC as every time Brexit comes up they seem to being crying into their collective beer.

I have come to the conclusion that MP is nothing more than a sad, single-issue troll. Best not to take the bait.

Almost everything on this thread is loony bin stuff but that was quite entertaining. Justin Webb possessed by some sort of phantom this morning?

I heard that go out live and thought it was absolutely astonishing. Why Justin Webb persisted with that line of questioning when he was so clearly out-gunned factually and intellectually I will never know. It was toe-curlingly embarrassing for the Today programme.

Blimey, I'm no DM fan, but this is getting silly.
When the BBEB goes pay per view/subscription, who will sign up?? My kids have flown the nest, & simply don't bother with TV license - they just watch streaming services like Youtube, Netflix, Amazon....

What is getting silly? What exactly enraged you this morning? That the guy who works for independent company has an opinion that doesn't align with yours?
