Doesn't suprise me. I can't listen to Vine anymore. The guy is the worst kind of champagne socialist lefty apologist snob going and his show makes me cringe. Vine is definitely part of the BBC where his face fits perfectly. It is a lousy show.
Still better than Steve 'great show Steve' Wright though.rallycross said:
I try to avoid the BBC news as its so biased, watched some of bbc1 news today and was shocked at how extremely biased their anti Trump coverage is. Considering we are all paying for this it's disgusting how left wing they are.
Its been pretty consistently anti trump bar a few minute sound bites on various articles from over in th US.Funkycoldribena said:

I have found it best to wean myself completely from BBC news and current affairs content.
I have said many times, I watch/listen to so little now, that if I delve back in for only a few seconds, I realise just how blatantly biased it is. Best to avoid altogether.
I find this also, the longer you stay away the more the blatant bias becomes noticeable.I have said many times, I watch/listen to so little now, that if I delve back in for only a few seconds, I realise just how blatantly biased it is. Best to avoid altogether.
Its a bit like those houses that smell of dog.
There was something on yesterday morning about children 'reinventing' Cinderella to make it more applicable to today's women. It caught my attention and I sat in rapt disbelief that this could be considered of any interest to anyone outside the classroom involved, yet alone a full 5 minute segment at primetime breakfast.
It was just utter lefty, liberal, feminist drivel, using children.
In hindsight, I wonder if one of the producers children was in the class - at least that would explain the article.
Yesterday on R4 on a long driving day was pretty hard work.
Two programmes in a row about racism and racial identity (the latter being one of their week long series of essays on the upcoming Trumpmaggedon).
Womans Hour featuring a discussion on what men have been heroes and villains on women's issues in recent history (answer: all of them except a couple of grudgingly named Labour/Lib Dem politicians).
You and Yours phone in on how Brexit has made prices go up.
Afternoon play about a bunch of (nice, lovable) environmentalists trying to send letter bombs out and blow up a dam.
Environmental magazine show about the potential damage Trump is going to cause the environment.
Interspersed with the news programmes bleating on about Trump, Brexit and the NHS all day.
Honestly, you couldn't make it up.

That is the point of the thread, they (the BBC) are not being professional about it and it is noticeable.
The point of this, and many other threads in NP&E is for angry (mostly) old men to get something to whine about, while pretending that they have clue what they are talking about. Climate change, BBC, muslims, immigrants, 'youf', labour, EU, bankers, NHS, public sector. It is entertaining.
You never know, you might enjoy a little exposure to the real world.

But without it, what would you have to whine about? It's also entertaining watching the usual distraction lobby attempting to disrupt any thread that scrutinises their favoured sanctified identities. It is entertaining.

Genuine question; Why listen to it? Two programmes in a row about racism and racial identity (the latter being one of their week long series of essays on the upcoming Trumpmaggedon).

Or is there an allotted time to post on here?

Not sure if I dreamed it but they had a piece with a woman reading Cinderella to a group of children and then pull it apart for the way it portrayed woman and then they rewrote the story to put Women in a more positive light. WTF is going on .
Don't think it was same version as one you saw but I remember one where Cinderella choked when she got to the ball. Not too sure it was politically correct and all that.techiedave said:

are you sure your version didn't have Diane Abbott in it?.This was making children re-write an age old fairy story and that's all it is a fairy story.
