Political bias at BBC - something has to be done surely
Discussion
Said it before and I'll say it again
It's the narrative that leans left
example being yesterdays unemployment figures
The full time figure blah blah blah
The part time figure Jumped
Actually both are around 10% of their respective cumulative totals so both should be reported as being a higher figure
As the Full time figure was more of an unexpected and greater numeric figure surely this figure should be the jumped
Comments???? apart from calm down snowflake

Has this been done yet? More evidence of the BBC breaking impartiality rules and innacurate reporting. They are basically a mouthpiece for the Tories these days.

Nick Robinson at 7:09 on Radio 4, introducing a Trump piece -
"...few at first believed he could win, and very few outside the United States wanted him to win..."
- well it's good to know the beeb have canvassed the small number of peeps living outside the US then.
This slipshod opinion-masquerading-as-fact is poor in many ways, but overall it continues to degrade respect for the institution (and the defence of it's generous funding).

Just watching BBCs take on the inauguration, it looked on the surface like they've cobbled together some optimism and positivity.
But when you look closely, they keep commenting on chances of rain on the inauguration. Every two minutes they go to the weather radar and show the rain bands sweeping from the middle of the country towards Washington. The implication is that intolerance and bigotry or trumpism is sweeping towards Washington like a plague or virus washing away democracy. It's disgusting.

The guy on the BBC News sounded suicidal at the prospects of a Trump presidency. But when you look closely, they keep commenting on chances of rain on the inauguration. There must be a safe space at a left-wing hothouse uni somewhere within unicycling distance.
Anyway...my BBC spy aka Mrs TB who still watches their propaganda has mentioned over cornflakes that while I was sorting a car earlier, Charlie Stayt had his arse handed to him by an Americal woman in an interview which she (Mrs TB) put as occurring some time between 07.00 and 07.30 so iPlayer will have it for some time.
Stayt asked a series of loaded quesitons, each subtly or unsubtly criticising Trump, and each time she (the Anerican woman) responded clearly and rationally, calmly dissecting his guff and exposing the lack of any basis, apart from loss of impartiality allied to populist me-tooism, in Stayt's contrived position and made him look foolish.
Producers at the beeb need to ditch The Guardian and try something less completely deluded. No chance, though.
