Political bias at BBC - something has to be done surely
Discussion
I haven't watched/listened to a single second of BBC output. I do remember they greeted the Obama presidency as the Second Coming - the fawning was cringe-worthy in the extreme.
I am assuming the BBC are treating the Trump presidency as the Anti-Christ by comparison - especially now that climate change has been nuked from the agenda?

Just watching BBCs take on the inauguration, it looked on the surface like they've cobbled together some optimism and positivity.
But when you look closely, they keep commenting on chances of rain on the inauguration. Every two minutes they go to the weather radar and show the rain bands sweeping from the middle of the country towards Washington. The implication is that intolerance and bigotry or trumpism is sweeping towards Washington like a plague or virus washing away democracy. It's disgusting.

There must be a safe space at a left-wing hothouse uni somewhere within unicycling distance.
Anyway...my BBC spy aka Mrs TB who still watches their propaganda has mentioned over cornflakes that while I was sorting a car earlier, Charlie Stayt had his arse handed to him by an Americal woman in an interview which she (Mrs TB) put as occurring some time between 07.00 and 07.30 so iPlayer will have it for some time.
Stayt asked a series of loaded quesitons, each subtly or unsubtly criticising Trump, and each time she (the Anerican woman) responded clearly and rationally, calmly dissecting his guff and exposing the lack of any basis, apart from loss of impartiality allied to populist me-tooism, in Stayt's contrived position and made him look foolish.
Producers at the beeb need to ditch The Guardian and try something less completely deluded. No chance, though.

They will be going through the time-old grief process and many will still be in denial at this point. They still haven't recovered from Cameron and Brexit.I am assuming the BBC are treating the Trump presidency as the Anti-Christ by comparison - especially now that climate change has been nuked from the agenda?
Some fawning types - not for Trump - on PH have gone a bit further and are in the anger stage, which is fun to watch as dodging their occasional glob of spittle or puked bile is easy.
More bile! More spittle! More whiny loserism!

Are you currently masterbating over a picture of Milo Yiannopolous? You can take hero worship a bit too far...Some fawning types - not for Trump - on PH have gone a bit further and are in the anger stage, which is fun to watch as dodging their occasional glob of spittle or puked bile is easy.

I think he's imitating you lot and your reds under the beds obsession. You've even got your wife involved.
You're as bad as 968 for comprehension, I didn't see it but take Mrs TB's word as she's right about everything, not you. When I mentioned more spittle etc obviously it wasn't compulsory but it's comforting not to be let down by whiny loserism! Watch the next few posts...with a towel handy of course.
I'm not annoyed in the least, I'm lovin' it. Left-illiberalism in whiny meltdown is a joy to behold and Mrs TB paints a good picture, on here it's more direct of course.

Er, you're the one getting your wife involved in hunting witches on the telly, for someone gloating so much about Brexit and trump, you seem surprisingly miserable and resentful of other PHers.
Yet again, wrong, in Stayt-esque mode too, super! Mrs TB is acting as my BBC spy of her own volition but knows I enjoy BBC angst at the death of left-illiberalism. So does she (enjoy it). Happy days.turbobloke said:

Yeah El Stovey, she's a turbo spy sent on an important mission to infiltrate the BBC by, er, watching the TV. She's also seemingly adding to his wk bank by reporting what he wants to hear! It must be overflowing by now with images of Trumps stubby little fingers, Milo Yiannopolous, bleached blonde hair and now BBC angst!968 said:

I think you guys should take a look at Channel4 News sometimes.
Jon Snow was a left wing radical at University and he has not changed in all the years since, asking loaded questions, to invited guests who could only every come up with the answer he first thought of. Compared to this the BBC are a paragon of neutrality.
I think their biggest problem is that rather than reporting news, as it has happened, they see themselves acting as the official opposition. Which, given the current state of the real one might not be such a bad thing.
