He was certainly called toenails that is well known.

But he's definitely a dyed in the wool tory, as are many within the BBC political machine.
Is it? Where is the evidence for that other than the usual lying fantasists on PH?
if you google "Nick Robinson Toenails" you will see lots of contemporaneous evidence of him being called that.

To be clear I don't think the BBC is biased in any material way. But Robinson is definitely a Tory and was definitely known as "toenails".
I just googled that, certainly not plenty of references out there, just two if anything and they're hardly unbiased.

Have you tried Google?

1.8M results for "Nick Robinson Toenails".

They don't all contain the word "toenails", but you must admit that 1,8M is quite impressive.
So in reality 2 references as said above. Been at the gin again?

Link number 1 is 2008 post on the bbc website. In the post he is referred to as "toenails"

It doesn't matter if it is justified or not, he was known as toenails.

I understand it was because he was seen as a man very keen to progress his career - his tory mates didn't enjoy him being anything less than scathing about the Labour administration.
As one would expect from a balanced BBC.

You do know new presenter is Nick Robinson is a Tory,
Used to be known to BBC journos as "Toenails" as he was so far up Gordon Brown's arse that that's all you could see of him? That Nick Robinson? Or Is there another one?

edit: stray apostrophe.
Which 'BBC Journos' are saying that? Any links?

Interestingly;
https://www.theguardian.com/media/greenslade/2010/...

Someone started campaign to get NR fired from BBC as he was biased;

article said:
a) Comparing Cameron to Disraeli before he's even taken office;
b) Talking about Downing Street as a 'Labour free zone';
c) Talking about Gordon Brown as the 'unelected prime minister';
d) Talking about the Conservatives as having 'won' the election;
e) Talking about a rainbow coalition as a 'coalition of losers';
f) The clear pleasure on his face when the Tories returned to power.
In case this was missed, I'm still waiting for credible source for 'Toenails'. Anything at all?

Actually no, you are doing it wrong.

43000 results for nick robinson
11300000 results for toenails
18000000 for nick robinson toenails which combines both of the previous two and adds a few more for good luck.
4 results for "nick robinson toenails".

although 28000 results for "nick robinson" "toenails" whih ensure both nick robinson and toenails are present on the page.

The only BBC news I catch is occasionally on Radio 4.

I haven't heard any mention of unusual snowfalls in Mediterranean areas and the Sahara. Have I missed anything, or are they keeping it under wraps because it doesn't suit their climate fraud agenda?

The things that I've read are some random bloggers saying this. I don't follow NR at all, so have no idea if he sucksed up to GB or not, if he did, I find it strange that he called him 'unelected PM' which he ofc was.
It looks to me that someone random came up with that, and people on blogs started repeating it. Just as you have people of very limited intelligence repeating 'snowflake', 'safe space', 'virtue signaling' and similar in hope that some other random person on the internet will think of them as cool.

It's fascinating how much some people worry about what people they don't know think about them.

Smiler.

Says the person who cries "stalker" when another comments on their posts. Sorry, am I allowed to comment now or is this still stalking?

You & your ilk are exactly the same in regard to those you decry above. The thing is, across the spectrum of liberal left, it's absolutely true. It's their life mission to avoid real work by whingeing & creating problems where there aren't any to justify their existence.

Meanwhile, the rest of us have to work for a living, granting said leftists the space in which they thrive.

It's funny, the whole "Nick Robinson is a tory" thing.

The phrase "one swallow does not make a summer" springs to mind.

If the name of the same journo comes up repeatedly, it makes one wonder why the usual suspects aren't mentioning all the other tories at the beeb.

It's hilarious contrariness.

Robinson's chums at the biased beeb nicknamed him 'toenails' because he was so far up Gordon Brown's poop chute that all you could see of him was his...

What is it with "senior" presenters on the BBC wanting to be the main focus of the show/be the news?

Just watching Andrew Marr with Theresa May. He won't let her finish a point and is coming out with all sorts of detail that "we need to know". No we don't right now, and if you had half a brain cell Mr Marr you would know this. You are trying to gain a headline/score a point.

Dimbleby does the same on QT.

Cretins beyond their sell by dates.

(Edited to add that she is now being evasive...you're reaping what you sow Mr Marr).

You can add James Naughtie, Justin Webb, Sarah Montague and Mishal Husein to that list too. Nick Robinson gets an honourable mention, only because he's just joined the Today programme, but he'll get there too.

Sadly that type of interrupting interview has become the norm because politicians will not answer a simple yes/no question with a yes/no.
It is however, immensely frustrating when they don't even give the politician the chance to give some kind of answer.

its pointless exercise the Politician will persist in getting their message over and the Interviewer will try to bring them back to what they want to talk about.

It sounds like you don't want any of our elected MP's or Theresa May to be asked any tough questions, snowflake

And ask VERY complicated questions that should NEVER be answered with a Yes or No. Life is not a Twitter feed mate:
