It's always entertaining to see people watching that same BBC that they see as biased.
I'd never spend time watching Alex Jones. But hey, if it makes you happy to watch something just to whine on a random forum about it; feel your boots.

Can I feel my boots!

I don't watch BBC news programmes anymore (although of course still pay for them) but I do watch the clips in places like here just to laugh at what I'm missing.

Great stuff from the Ginetta bloke, love it and my sentiments exactly. JFDI, what are we waiting for! Was that clip actually shown on the Beeb?

How long is it since we voted on this with little movement since (Laura should be asking that question)? May needs to take a leaf out of the Trumpster's book and sign some Executive Orders and get the ball rolling sharpish. wink

All media is biased. The only way to even attempt to fully understand an issue is to use a variety of sources and weight them according to their biases. It's therefore fine to use the BBC as a biased news source alongside the biased Guardian, the biased Mail, biased Sky etc...

This point however is separate from the point that the BBC bias is in contravention of their charter.

Off topic, sort of - moved to an old barn with 4 acres that I've been developing into a wildflower meadow over the last year. Will be here for another year or so and then I'll look to build again.

She is a complete clusterfk of a woman.

Did they include the interview with Lawrence Tomlinson of Ginetta Cars?

His response to her was priceless.

Ha ha ha. As a Ginetta fan, I missed that. Tomlinson is always straight to the point.

Should be played over and over and over!

right wing pistonheads thinks BBC in reds under the beds shocker laugh

They're only "lefties" because you are "righties". Surprised you have not cottoned to this simple fact yet. Maybe you just like complaining though

If you want to read news that conforms to your world view then Breibart news is the one for you, they have a UK edition

http://www.breitbart.com/london/

Then you will be as happy as larry.

WITH 3 MILLION CHANNELS YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WATCH THE BBC.

Feck that, I just like a good old moan about the BBC. Because I have nothing better to do and cannot use the remote control as my fingers have spasmed in a frenzy or somethink...

Regards

Col RJ Snoddington rtd.

PS After all these aimless posts on the BBC after all this time it has reduced down to completely useless topic that has no purpose. Have you thought about a self help group where you can meet on a Thursday evening and learn how to wean yourself off it?

So your argument is not about bias but funding?

Both. Either be biased but don't make me pay or make me pay but don't be biased.

They are not making you pay. Stop whining about 130£ a year.

As said, unless you can prove otherwise, in order to watch scheduled TV from other providers I have to pay the licence fee.

Why does the value matter? Either I have to pay or or I don't. Your second sentence seems to contradict the first.

It doesn't. TV Licensing makes you pay for license, not bbc. Would you whine if it was 1p?

To fund the BBC. Why do I need a licence to watch scheduled television?
